AH at the end there was himself. Not his character as a Barrister.

He smiled. And was natural. Saw the human. It was lovely.

AH was looking fondly at his screen and said to JR, look at the chat. It was full of people thanking the judge.

That was nice.

Aha, ignore previous post!

I typed thank you in the chat after being a good swot for all these weeks ..

It was a privilege - more of this stuff please.

And Allison good luck to you, may your career prosper after this x

I had the urge to write something really naughty in the chat in the last 5 mins!

So did i!

I wanted to compliment BC & the Panel.

Do we have addresses for the panel at all? I feel like writing and thanking them.

Regardless of the outcome this has been a very impressive tribunal for all sorts of reasons.

I got a bit wistful too and I thought AH looked quite genuine with his nice smile at the end.

What did Mr H say when he thought the cameras/mics were off, was it "Did you see the chat?" In which case, what was in the chat?

And WHY do experienced legal people not know to keep quiet with their comments until they KNOW a mic is off?!

It was lovely, lots of people saying thank you for open justice, end of an era, thanking judge etc. He looked genuinely touched.

I agree with nauticant - I though AH seemed very good. I would pick him over any of the blustering fools I've seen act as witnesses for GCC!

I think they're saying that Mumsnet were 'celebrating' the fact that a gender critical barrister from GCC was attending a WPUK meeting, and GCC didn't like it, because they didn't want to be associated with anything gender critical and wanted to distance themselves from it.

SH seemed to be referencing something in an email before it had actually taken place. AH suggested in his re-examination that vipers here were the source of the advance information. Not sure how that works, as I didn't have SH down as a lurker by any s-t-r-e-t-c-h of the imagination.

It must have been quite an experience for some of them having such a big audience! I wonder if AH and IO really understand just how big of a case this is? And not just to those involved?

I hope Allison has a BIG glass of her favourite tipple and can relax a bit now.

If you ever read this

Thank you Allison for doing this, we know it wasn't for the money (but I hope you get lots), but for everyone, especially the children that are being harmed. Thank you.

I was 😳 at MB this morning, though.

Aw yes, huge thanks to @ickky for being on it like a car bonnet throughout! And to all of you who have provided such enlightening and entertaining commentary for the past couple of weeks. I've mainly lurked on MN since 2005, might post a bit more often now. You're a lovely lot of vipers really.

Late arrival and only bothered to get up to speed with new fangled MN for this, but read every thread still and enjoyed every minute.
Just wondering how the engagement of MN users and the very length of this will effect MN advertising stats? It will surely show up when they do their data capture and be a final nail against pile-ons against advertisers. Dunno if anyone was persuaded to change washing powder while following BC and cat-spotting but undeniably we all stayed on the site where the ad was running for a veerrry long time Grin

Thanks to everyone involved from all sides for letting us be part of it.

And thanks to Allison who lived it.
