The Tribunal started on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The court chat function is there for official court purposes, not for observers, please don't use it unless you have a technical issue.

On the first page underneath where you put your screen name, select the video and mic that are not crossed out (top option), this is the courts vid and mic.
On the next page select NONE on the drop down windows for vid and mic, these are your own video and mic.

You must be muted so as to not disturb the hearing.

Thank you all for filling the thread but now I have log-in anxiety to replace duplicate thread anxiety. Argh. Will this never end? Where are my support biscuits?!

Here’s the email:

Dear Supporters,

I’m back in court on Monday 20 June 2022, at 10am with my legal team for closing submissions.

The wonderful women citizen journalists @tribunaltweets will be live tweeting the closing submissions. You can follow proceedings this way. You will be in good company: their live tweeting of my case reached an audience of over 30 million.

If you would like to attend the hearing as an observer via video live-link, you will ideally have already requested new login details, with a new PIN for Monday’s hearing.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the employment tribunal has not confirmed if I am permitted to share the login details with observers.

If you would like to obtain new login details, and have not already done so, you should send an urgent request to the email address already provided, citing: 2202172/20 Allison Bailey v Stonewall Equality Limited. If you don’t have the email address, please let me know and I will provide you with it.

Closing submissions are the final stage of the employment tribunal, save for the tribunal's decision, which will be delivered at some stage in the coming weeks or months.

Very best wishes,
Allison

I have been very good eking out the Border's dark chocolate covered ginger and orange bars that I bought after they were mentioned on an earlier thread, but I think they're likely to take a hammering on Monday.

I feel the need to tell you all that I've just put a box of blood orange & chocolate cookies on this week's Tesco order. Will try & save them for Monday.

According to our leader ickky on the other thread

I emailed the tribunal peeps and they said that the original access link and pin should work for next Monday.

Sorry if this has already been covered, who speaks first? Can they be interrupted for questions or objections?

Report
IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 17/06/2022 22:59

Can someone paste the text of the email? Where are you getting emails from?

Report
TheBiologyStupid · 17/06/2022 22:29

Do we just email using the previous details in the email subject heading to request fresh access logins? Presumably the case number is the same?

Report
TwoDrifters2 · 17/06/2022 22:22

14 to go…

Report
McDuffy · 17/06/2022 22:17

Yes, I got it too and have emailed to request! Gah that's late notice.

Report
BatDuck · 17/06/2022 21:57

I’ve just received an email update from AB and it says we will need new login codes. I’m not sure there’s enough time to get them before 10am Monday

Report
Gubu · 17/06/2022 21:45

For anyone who is organised enough to have got the log in details for Monday, is it the same as for the previous hearing days?

Report
IcakethereforeIam · 17/06/2022 21:09

Right....!

I can't believe the 20th is rolling around so quickly, it seemed ages to wait when the hearing finished. Waiting must be so stressful for the actively involved participants. I'd probably have eaten Tesco out of biscuits and started in on Sainburys.

Respectforpeople · 17/06/2022 21:06

We may need biscuits for Tuesday just seen RMW will be a witness at the next Equalities, Human Rights and Civil Justice Committee meeting. It’s the next session on the Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill.

You can watch live or catch up on this and other meetings www.scottishparliament.tv/meeting/equalities-human-rights-and-civil-justice-committee-june-14-2022.

Happy to help fill the thread, I also find two threads open is untidy.

Positive news The BBC has managed to produce an article about women and not use the word “people” www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-61827013

When it comes to biscuits, let's just hope that the TRAs need at least a packet or two of digestives when EJ Goodman and the panel announce their decision.

Bees have cheesy feet, that how they can tell if a flower has recently been
bee-ed, they smell the cheese and don't waste time visiting an empty flower.
