The Tribunal started on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The court chat function is there for official court purposes, not for observers, please don't use it unless you have a technical issue.

On the first page underneath where you put your screen name, select the video and mic that are not crossed out (top option), this is the courts vid and mic.

On the next page select NONE on the drop down windows for vid and mic, these are your own video and mic.

You must be muted so as to not disturb the hearing.

Thanks ickky! Listening intently but following here also for the excellent analysis (and comedy genius).

VestofAbsurdity · 18/05/2022 10:47

2fallsfromSSA · 18/05/2022 10:53

Good call from the judge there.

NoImAVeronica · 18/05/2022 10:54

Thanks ickky

Zebracat · 18/05/2022 10:55

Thanks for the thread. . I’m finding this quite frustrating. I hope the panel are too.

Gabcsika · 18/05/2022 10:56

MS says Alison never sent her anything apart from opinions on the Cotton Ceiling on the TERFisaslur website. She went through the whole thing. The only thing she went and found was the workshop in 2012.

BC then says the description from the actual workshop on the TERFisaslur website along with other comments.

I still really don't understand what MS is trying to argue here.

Queenoftheashes · 18/05/2022 10:57

Crikey. These TRAs are most impolite.

Gabcsika · 18/05/2022 10:58

@Zebracat

INCREDIBLY.

Is it too early for gin?

LOL.
It's nearly 12.00 here.

Appalonia · 18/05/2022 10:59

Ha, IS there such a thing as a 'reasonable social media user'?!

NoImAVeronica · 18/05/2022 11:00

Where was this more neutral analysis MS?? Completely unsubstantiated.

Queenoftheashes · 18/05/2022 11:01

God she’s raging

nauticant · 18/05/2022 11:01

One big problem in the approach of GCC in relation to the application of Article 10 is that when they receive a complaint in the gender identity issue, rather than looking deeply into the substance, they look mainly at the level of outrage, so long as it comes from certain quarters.

But we all know that had a complaint come in about Alex Sharpe and them being offensive to gender critical people, there is no way it would have triggered this kind of reaction.

There was a similar situation in Maya Forstater's case.

Appalonia · 18/05/2022 11:01

God she sounds like she's about to explode!

Gabcsika · 18/05/2022 11:01

MS just mentioned "TERF is not a slur" site as an alternative.

I just googled it.

It's got like 5 tweets on it.

NoImAVeronica · 18/05/2022 11:01

Did she just refer to a 'terfisnotaslur' website? Must have missed that one.

Zebracat · 18/05/2022 11:01

“Getting into lesbians knickers” . Thank you B.C.

NoImAVeronica · 18/05/2022 11:02

😂thanks for doing the legwork Gabcsika!

Clymene · 18/05/2022 11:03

Thank you @ickky

nauticant · 18/05/2022 11:03

BC requesting a 15 minute break so he can check something with AB. Resuming at 11.18.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 18/05/2022 11:04

She's showing herself up that she doesn't really get all this at all.

But then unless you are personally affected then I don't suppose people do.

Break until 11.18

Appalonia · 18/05/2022 11:04

Back at 11.18. Phew think everyone needs a break after that!

Queenoftheashes · 18/05/2022 11:04

Lol AH is accused of causing the echo
