Did any of the witnesses expand on why talk on mumsnet was such an issue? I might have missed it?

The moment they tweeted that they were investigating a named person, was the moment they put a target on her back. And they fucking know it. You don't need gossip if you've tweeted it.

If I was Justine or WPUK or anyone else referred to as "transphobic" in this case I think I'd be dialling my lawyer.

It's an accusation of a hate crime. Or, IMO, a baseless accusation of a hate crime.

This tribunal could form the basis of a TV soap!

It's pretty much fully cast for a ten-part miniseries, judging by the earlier threads! I think we just need Vera Lynn as a WREN?

I bet the AH, BC and EJ go for a pint tonight and a debrief. IO might go too, but she'll maybe just sit quietly and say nothing.

Am impressed by how much these people keep in their heads.

Horrified by the working environment Allison was in and how appallingly she was treated.

And, I'm genuinely scared that we have seen that SW's creme de la creme are, well, fragile; that people I'd have expected to have an ability to see balance and fairness and accommodate the law just don't see their own bias; and that we came very close to losing a fantastic role model for women, lesbians, women of colour, survivors and for those of us who are all of those things in one package.

What a woman Allison is. No wonder JKR bought her lunch.

LOL, yes that's a certainty about IO. Maybe she'll send an immobile hologram?

This tribunal could form the basis of a TV soap!

We have already agreed that it should be a 10 part series on Netflix et al, we have done casting and some of the special effects, we just need the script writers to pull their fingers out now. 😁

Anyway, I'm off for a name change and I will see you all on the 20th June.

Thank you everyone for all your contributions.

Just caught up, it's like being in a theatre when the lights come up and you're looking round for your coat. Thank you @ickky, hope @Boiledbeetle you have a good nap, very envious over orange and chocolate support biscuits. Support animals and snacks will be with me to my grave.

All the best to Allison.

Oops, meant to add that we'll need to avoid any scenes of banter down the pub with dodgy solicitors and replace them with innocuous discussions of footie/Mariah Carey in the clerks' room instead.

And GCC's obsession with discussing football with the lower orders.

Overall I think the most annoying witness was MB - she took patronising to a whole new level

EJ at the very end asked for and AH said he would provide a list of the 119 other members of GCC to add to the two Respondents named as representatives at the moment - Rajiv Menon and Stephanie Harrison who are current heads of chambers.

It's a technical point but does anyone know whether this will be the members at the time of the acts of discrimination back in 2019/2020 or when proceedings were issued or now?

And given that several witnesses talked variously about chambers having 150 - 200 members, does mean that they have fewer than they did or that only some fall into a 'liable' category?

Also a very big thank you to the brave Allison and her legal team, amazing work. Here's hoping for a satisfactory verdict Flowers

We need a whole section on swimming.

For the person asking about summing up, it was said yesterday I think that they were meant to have two days this week to write their closing submissions but they were lost to evidence overruns. So they have a month now to write them but hopefully they'll do the bulk of it tomorrow "while it's fresh".

So no big piss ups tonight. They all have a lot of work to do tomorrow. Expect maybe I 'no questions Madam' O. She'll just submit a few bullet points 😉

Aww I was bodily in work this afternoon and only caught the last 45 mins or so with the phone propped in the drinkholder in the car (listening, not watching Shock!).

I did hear AH........r say something stage right but couldn't make it out. Sad I missed a rare smile from him and all the chat messages (thanks for starting those, Idisagree). I will miss tuning in with you all and the elusive promise of BC's garden - loved his green wall and art and just the glimpse of green beyond the bi-fold doors - whether it's his office or home, it felt very calm.

Huge good wishes to Allison whose courage and composure have been so inspiring. I'm sure she wouldn't have chosen to be inspirational and would far rather just be working as normal.

Thank you to @ickky for all the Freds. I'll miss all your wit. In many places I have genuinely, literally Wink LOL'd. See you again for the summing up. GinBrewCake

Well! Yes like others it’s hard to believe that it’s over. My goodness Alison what a heroine is.

my main take, other than how utterly clueless & incurious so many senior & experienced ppl at GGC, is how when push comes to shove stonewall we’re nowhere to be seen in backing up GCC. Sure they put up some middle ranking ppl as a token but basically Stonewall will take an organisations money but when the shit hits the fan, you won’t see them for dust
