Thanks for new thread Ikky. Just in time for the break.

What do you all think? Media position and thus GCC position being "neutral" looking ropey, isn't it?

Ropey af. Wouldn't they have been better of just admitting they had a preferred stance to some degree at least?

To me that looks like the media time being neutral on sex vs gender is very shaky Gabcsika which should make the panel wonder where they were getting their bias from when many barristers have given testimony that trans ally views at GCC were simply personally held and only rarely discussed.

One can see how having MB after this witness is the best way to do it. (Straight after would have been best but hey-ho.)

Can someone summarise the salient points to date please? I have tried to read the threads but there are so many, and lots of comments are one liners which are difficult to put into context without further background.

Unfortunately, I can't watch/listen as I'm back in my office full time, so reading these thread keeps me updated.

Every time something from the bingo card comes up I have resolved to do a set of pelvic floor squeezes. Starting late, but I think I'll be able to do 10 minutes on the trampoline by end of play Friday.

DDM is now facing the choice of having to acknowledge prejudice against AB or give testimony that goes against the evidence and particularly his email (page 611 of the downloadable core bundle). He's going for the latter.

Why is DDM denying that GCC are pro trans, he literally put exactly that in writing?

DM is Head of Communications but doesn't seem to understand how Twitter works.

DM expressed opinion, back in the day, that AB's tweets could be seen as 'problematic' because of GCC's reputation for being LGBT+ friendly and because other people objected to her tweets. He now strongly denies that he had an opinion on the subject at all. But while he was very concerned about the risk of reputational damage, he doesn't seem to have taken into account how reputable any of the complainers on Twitter were.
