I don't do twitter - can someone explain what an 'impression' is?

Does it mean that a particular tweet has been viewed that number of times?

Presumably that could be multiple times by one person so not necessarily 31 million people?

Or are they adding up impressions of each tweet - so say they wrote 30 tweets, each one viewed 1 million times - is that their 31 million?

TheBiologyStupid · 26/05/2022 16:30

EJ asks for bundle to be sorted out. BC will do it "in a more sensible" way.

WallaceinAnderland · 26/05/2022 16:25

What is the relevance of the Mumsnet link to WPUK meeting chaired by AB?

I think they're saying that Mumsnet were 'celebrating' the fact that a gender critical barrister from GCC was attending a WPUK meeting, and GCC didn't like it, because they didn't want to be associated with anything gender critical and wanted to distance themselves from it.

Roseglen84 · 26/05/2022 16:31

AH being a lick arse to the judge at the end - how smarmy.

Boiledbeetle · 26/05/2022 16:31

now what do we do???

tabbycatstripy · 26/05/2022 16:31

Barristers feeling proud.

chilling19 · 26/05/2022 16:31

Feel ps like the end of The Truman Show 😂

ClocheEncounter · 26/05/2022 16:31

"Have you seen the chat?" from AH there, presumably in response to all the people thanking the judge!

Pyjamagame · 26/05/2022 16:31

Not sure how all three parties will be able to agree one document....

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 26/05/2022 16:31

As someone said in the chat - it's the end of an era.

VaginaRegina · 26/05/2022 16:31

Catch up on all the work we haven't done over the past couple of weeks?

Signalbox · 26/05/2022 16:32

I had the urge to write something really naughty in the chat in the last 5 mins!

NancyDrawed · 26/05/2022 16:32

AH to JR 'Have you seen the chat?'

(Comments about thank you to all, open justice, privelidge to have been able to observe etc)

WallaceinAnderland · 26/05/2022 16:32

Aw lots of thanks in the chat.

EJ end now

...

AH Have you seen the chat

Everyone smiles fondly at lovely messages to panel in chat

ickky · 26/05/2022 16:32

Phew, over now until 20th June for closing submissions.

AH was looking fondly at his screen and said to JR, look at the chat. It was full of people thanking the judge.

That was nice.

nauticant · 26/05/2022 16:32

AH makes clear that throughout the case there was huge cooperation among the counsel for all parties.

My possibly unpopular view is that I respected the way AH ran his case. Some bits annoyed me but overall it was the kind of assertiveness I would expect to have from a counsel representing me.

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 26/05/2022 16:32

AH being a lick arse to the judge at the end - how smarmy.

Exactly what I though - after he's been quite rude to her throughout.

SidewaysOtter · 26/05/2022 16:33

What did Mr H say when he thought the cameras/mics were off, was it "Did you see the chat?" In which case, what was in the chat?

And WHY do experienced legal people not know to keep quiet with their comments until they KNOW a mic is off?!

TopKnotch · 26/05/2022 16:33

I love that EJG had some healthy doubt over how efficient a document between 3 would be given the bundle....

Boiledbeetle · 26/05/2022 16:33

i'm going for my now late afternoon nap, then I plan to spend this evening catching up reading today's threads as ive missed most comments.

better feed the cat first

Noooooo. No more Twittersplaining. Just pop Hockhouse an email, he should have it down pat by now

PurpleDrain · 26/05/2022 16:33

Oh no summing up tomorrow then? Not like tv is it?

Appalonia · 26/05/2022 16:33

Well that was a marathon wasn't it? Well done everyone! The outcome is going to be utterly nailbiting...
