BC How can make a recommendation of finding a breach when you haven't even read ABs response

SH I took Mia's word for it (paraphrase)

BC You did regard the amendments as substantive. You changed 'possibility' of break to 'likely'

SH it was from 'risk' to 'likely'. She said 'risk', I said 'likely.'

Bit more waffle

SH Hope tribunal can understand how GCC operates

Yes, I think they have a very good idea of how they operate

LolaLouLou · 26/05/2022 16:03

When you are at the top of the pile..it is so easy to say we are all equal

Mollyollydolly · 26/05/2022 16:03

Supreme Court Case .. wasn't paying attention.

EmpressaurusWitchDoesntBurn · 26/05/2022 16:04

Ereshkigalangcleg · 26/05/2022 16:03

Mr Cook

Colin Cook, GCC Chief Clerk, as the court took a break from him giving evidence stood up and said "fucking hell" while his mic/camera was on.

Oh yes 😁

LipbalmOrKnickers · 26/05/2022 16:04

ifIwerenotanandroid · 26/05/2022 15:58

My response to this is not dissimilar to Mr Cook's heartfelt expression of his feelings.

😁Mine too!

Pyjamagame · 26/05/2022 16:04

'accord with reality' - that's a bit rich to start talking about reality now....

tabbycatstripy · 26/05/2022 16:04

How does she know it wasn't widely discussed in Chambers? You could only say you weren't aware of such discussions, surely?

FacebookPhotos · 26/05/2022 16:04

If there's no hierarchy, why does she keep talking about seniority and years' call?!

nauticant · 26/05/2022 16:05

Hang on, if there's no ranking in GCC, why is SH making such a noise about 36 years call and 40 years call?

Pyjamagame · 26/05/2022 16:05

Now she's talking about seniority of barristers - but there in no hierarchy?!?

chilling19 · 26/05/2022 16:05

🤥

Birdsweepsin · 26/05/2022 16:05

"It's an email in my minds eye but I didn't really take much notice of it..." Eh?

Mmmnotsure · 26/05/2022 16:05

SH: no one at GCC is any more important than anyone else

Also SH: these emails were from senior barristers of many years call so they were particularly important

LolaLouLou · 26/05/2022 16:05

We are all equal ..and in the next breath she is talking about barister seniority

Pluvia · 26/05/2022 16:05

Head/ wall moment. SH talking about how barristers want those who disagree with them to provide evidence. Mention of not distorting reality.

And yet she and MB believe TWAW and all the other Stonewall nonsense without any evidence. Does she not realise how ridiculous she is?

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 26/05/2022 16:05

Lots of law firms now say they're non-hierarchical. It's a farce, of course they still are

Pyjamagame · 26/05/2022 16:06

God she talks a pile of shite.

Poplia · 26/05/2022 16:06

SH seems so outraged that anyone would challenge or question her.

tabbycatstripy · 26/05/2022 16:07

Now again, there are more senior and more respected members of Chambers than others. But before, not.

ickky · 26/05/2022 16:07

Ben's wandered off now.

OP posts:
chilling19 · 26/05/2022 16:07

No hierarchy versus two senior members of the crime team

Pyjamagame · 26/05/2022 16:07

Not a fan of football then.

nauticant · 26/05/2022 16:07

Am I getting a bit of Scouse in SH voice?

ifIwerenotanandroid · 26/05/2022 16:07

I'm now channelling Mr Cook AND PJgame

Mrskettleson · 26/05/2022 16:07

Just got back on. She’s a bit snippy too!
