The Tribunal started on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The court chat function is there for official court purposes, not for observers, please don't use it unless you have a technical issue.

On the first page underneath where you put your screen name, select the video and mic that are not crossed out (top option), this is the courts vid and mic.
On the next page select NONE on the drop down windows for vid and mic, these are your own video and mic.

You must be muted so as to not disturb the hearing.

There is also live tweeting from

I'm not on twitter - is there a way I can see the live tribunal tweets without it?

Yes you can I''m not on Twitter either.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 25/05/2022 12:08

It's abstract art I think and a support parrot or possibly a wren picture behind him.

BitterAndOnlySlightlyTwisted · 25/05/2022 12:08

When you get the “log on or create an account” pop-up choose “log on”. Second window asks for your handle and password. Close that window. You’re in

nauticant · 25/05/2022 12:09

BC is missing that in the death-threats-to-TERFs community, all tweets disappear when an abusive account is banned.

WallaceinAnderland · 25/05/2022 12:12

Finally getting to talk about the abuse Allison received that everyone claims to have not seen.

LouiseBelchersBunnyEars · 25/05/2022 12:12

He has that drinking voice, reminds me abit of Romesh Ranganathan, where he does that droning voice and looks totally disinterested.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 25/05/2022 12:12

Aural mogadon. He's killing me here.

Watermonster · 25/05/2022 12:12

LouiseBelchersBunnyEars · 25/05/2022 12:12

he scanned through a thousand replies and saw no abuse/threats?!?

bullshit!!

TheBiologyStupid · 25/05/2022 12:12

Saw more than 900 replies but didn't see abuse or threats. Yeah, right!

Madcats · 25/05/2022 12:12

Isn't it a bit odd that we are a month into the Tribunal and only now have the panel admitted that they don't really understand Twitter?

Wouldn't they have "googled" or asked somebody's teenager?

For the person trying to get onto Twitter (without joining), try using Firefox browser with this link

(I think I have too many cookies in other browsers).

ifIwerenotanandroid · 25/05/2022 12:12

Pinterest just recommended this to me - no idea why, but I thought my fellow vipers might appreciate it as a timeline cleanser.

Pyjamagame · 25/05/2022 12:13

I think I would notice the threats. Of course they are going to stand out - swear words and other strong vocabulary do.

I don't believe him.

GrumpyMenopausalWombWielder · 25/05/2022 12:13

Place mark - on a break, trying to catch up!

WomensLandArmy · 25/05/2022 12:13

Someone is telling porkies...

LipbalmOrKnickers · 25/05/2022 12:13

DDM: I didn't see the abuse because there were almost a thousand replies.

But he said it was a Twitter Storm, that they were all critical. Which nice replies was he distracted from the overwhelming abuse by?

SunnyLobelia · 25/05/2022 12:13

Zeugma · 25/05/2022 11:54

It reminded me very much of the cover illustration of 'H is for Hawk', but it’s not quite that (yes, I was sad enough to google). But it does look like some sort of raptor.

Gotta be a legal eagle.

[posts this in a hurry then undoubtedly will scroll back up to see this already said]

Signalbox · 25/05/2022 12:14

🙈🙉🙊

WomensLandArmy · 25/05/2022 12:14

'a limited yes' ha ha ha

TheBiologyStupid · 25/05/2022 12:14

"A limited yes"!

ResisterRex · 25/05/2022 12:15

It's both unedifying and fascinating that a Chambers would spend so much time being worried about Twitter while knowing nothing of Twitter.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 25/05/2022 12:15

EJG misses nowt!

ifIwerenotanandroid · 25/05/2022 12:16

Oh EJ!!

tabbycatstripy · 25/05/2022 12:16

EJ reading the violent threats aloud.

Lougle · 25/05/2022 12:16

Love EJ's quoting the tweet!
