Tomorrow begins at 9am, MB first, Harrison following.

It's going to be an important day - I won't be getting much done.

Thanks ickky - threads coming faster than in The Dragons of Pern!

Penguintears · 25/05/2022 16:42

Hopefully my surgery will be first thing so I can listen groggily to MB while recovering. If not will be following TT closely.

I know Debbie generates mixed opinions but she's done sterling work in this area. I met her at LGB Alliance conference and had a photo.

Then had one with James Dreyfus

James Dreyfus follows me on twitter... not that I am boasting 😺 (support cat)

RoaringtoLangClegintheDark · 25/05/2022 16:46

I find it hard to understand why anyone would be so furiously nasty about a data request. It seems to me that there was an underlying hostility to AB already, otherwise SS response is a massive overreaction.

Yes, katmarie.

It was a hugely intemperate response, and a personal attack.

catandcoffee · 25/05/2022 16:47

SpindleInTheWind · 25/05/2022 14:55

I think they (the clients, and possibly their counsel) were arrogant and thought they could rely on inequality of arms and running down the clock.

And maybe Alison not being rich enough to sue them....😁

RoaringtoLangClegintheDark · 25/05/2022 16:48

Thanks ickky!

Can I ask about the non downloadable bundle? Bit late in the day, I know…
How does it work? Is there a way to access it but not store it, is that how it goes? And if you request it in the chat box, do they give you that access? Or do you have to be a journalist?

Birdsweepsin · 25/05/2022 16:49

Just googled Michelle Brewer and found a TELI slide on Facebook.

This. Makes. No. Sense. Whatsoever.

Well done everyone who saw the day out, it was extremely hard going today. The interminable voice & pace of DdM, alone, was a test of utmost endurance .

Boiledbeetle · 25/05/2022 16:51

@WomensLandArmy hopefully your little one will be fine, but is there any chance of taking them to A and E.

Just to make sure you understand. Nothing to do with the optics of episode 8: a mumsnet user, with child, action drive sequence through rush hour traffic to get to the hospital. Oh no not at all!

Seriously though hope it's nearly all out of their system!

Good luck for tomorrow, @Penguintears.

MaudeYoung · 25/05/2022 16:52

All of this GCC testimony is what closing ranks looks like in action. It seems to me that Allison Bailey has been shut out of everyone's thinking as someone deserving / entitled to be treated as an equal member since her email in December 2018 about GCC associating itself with Stonewall.

For a chambers that lauds the ideas of diversity, inclusion and equality, it seems to me that there was a condition requiring conformity of thought and expression.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 25/05/2022 16:52

Why is SS himself not here explaining himself??

I'm sure I've seen him in the observers a couple of times.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 25/05/2022 16:52

I've had two episodes of support yarn buying this week. I've tried so hard to give it up, but you know...

We spent SEVEN hours in A and E recently with middle child, so no thank you, even in the interest of site drama! He's asleep, but boiling, poor sausage.

You just click the link and it will open in a new window. Be warned it takes at least 5 minutes to appear as it is a large file that needs to load.

There seems to be something horrible going around all the children. My DD2 was off with vomiting and fever last week. Horrid. Virtually the whole nursery and reception have it.

I love the idea of a movie with little vignettes of MN users cleaning up child sick, ministering to poorly kids, crocheting, decorating and trying to work whilst listening to this court case about women's rights. It's hardly the typical demonstration of evil bigots is it.

Booking a white support dragon from Pern. Ruth can croon and twitch their tail ...

And can you explain where the hot comes from? Do I need to buy it from the shop with the bread?

Be careful with the hot.

If you are invoking Toast Fairies early on morning, or late in the evening, the hot can come through the electrickery pipe too quickly because no-one else is using any so it comes through in a great rush because there is a lot of it sloshing about just waiting.

This can cause a smoke to come out and the angry Fairies leave black toast instead of brown, because the smoke makes their eyes hurt.

No. Supposedly trans women have been at the forefront of every advance in LGB rights since history began.

And then Get the L Out protested at 'Pride in London' (London Pride is a beer Michelle) and obviously lesbians are an affront to decent society.

Emotionalsupportviper · 25/05/2022 17:28

StrongOutspokenOftenIrritating · 25/05/2022 15:24

The hot is a byproduct of the fairy wings movement.

Only if it's EcoFairies on duty.

Bugger. I cleared today for it. Tomorrow morning I am in a 3 hour training course.

Next witness:
Kathryn Cronin - senior member of Garden Court Chambers and former Joint Head until January 2017; barrister, area of practice: immigation

Blimey - by her photo she is frightened that the camera has captured her soul. She can't possibly cope with twitter voodoo.
