1000 replies

ickky · 03/06/2022 15:32

The Tribunal started on 25th April, witness testimony concluded on the 26th May. Closing arguments for council will be on the 20th June. I don't know if the existing links and pins will work. I will email nearer the time to check.

If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access.
Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 20th June 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The court chat function is there for official court purposes, not for observers, please don't use it unless you have a technical issue.

On the first page underneath where you put your screen name, select the video and mic that are not crossed out (top option), this is the courts vid and mic.
On the next page select NONE on the drop down windows for vid and mic, these are your own video and mic.

You must be muted so as to not disturb the hearing.

There is also live tweeting from

twitter.com/tribunaltweets

Thanks for new thread & for confirming log-in for Mon@ickky . And good luck to ProJo too.

SpinMeARiver · 15/06/2022 14:17

@Marscapone I imagine the judgement will be a while, possibly a couple of months.

WomensLandArmy · 15/06/2022 14:40

Not sure that's quorum, but I'll take it as permission (The rocky road is divine dahlings).

I have got unreasonably lucky - from my initial disappointment that the summing up would be delayed to Monday because it's a working day for me, I now have a change of schedule so I can be there.
I do hope the support wren will make an appearance.

WallaceinAnderland · 16/06/2022 21:33

I just saw this and thought of you lot.

Guess which Chambers this rude barrister works for.

WookeyHole · 16/06/2022 21:45

Yes, I saw that and thought exactly the same!

WallaceinAnderland · 16/06/2022 21:58

'The judge warned her not to delay or distract from the trial'

So familar 🙄

Roseglen84 · 17/06/2022 14:41

WallaceinAnderland · 16/06/2022 21:33

Bloody hell - Garden Court Chambers seems to be a hotbed of unprofessionalism.

Chrysanthemum5 · 17/06/2022 15:14

Am not working on Monday so looking forward to seeing BC again, even looking forward to AH. Interested to see how RMW is after the performance in James Esses tribunal

Manderleyagain · 17/06/2022 20:56

That case about the rude barrister - I'm pretty sure she was one of the ones who wrote in support of Allison and was mentioned at the trial. I googled the name at the time and the fact she'd been fined for being rude to a judge was pretty high up the search results. So unless there are 2 garden court barristers who've done the same...

FannyCann · 18/06/2022 09:38

Checking in to placemark. Thanks Ickky.

Shock the rude barrister!

EmbarrassingHadrosaurus · 18/06/2022 10:08

ickky · 13/06/2022 09:19

I emailed the tribunal peeps and they said that the original access link and pin should work for next Monday.

Also Prof Jo Phoenix has her first Case Management preliminary hearing today. Good Luck ProJo.

I hope so. I saw the claim on the other thread that we need new ones but I doubt we could obtain them in time.

oviraptor21 · 18/06/2022 10:22

I have emailed just in case but 🤞 the original pin works.

ickky · 18/06/2022 14:48

I would send a request for a new pin number, just in case.

If anyone doesn't get in, could the ones that do, private message others with the pin?

ickky · 18/06/2022 14:51

This is the text from the email they sent me.

Thank you for your email which will receive very prompt attention as this inbox is being monitored regularly.
You will be sent a link which will enable you to join the hearing as a member of the press/public, please make sure you have Google Chrome as your default browser and that your camera and speaker(s) are working.
Please remember that is it an offence to record the proceedings.
Emails containing a link to join will be sent the morning of when the hearing is due to start.
Please note: The access link and pin will remain the same for the duration of the hearing.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EMAIL ADDRESS IS ONLY USED TO ENABLE PUBLIC HEARINGS TO HEARINGS WHICH ARE TAKING PLACE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
ANY OTHER EMAILS, ON ANY OTHER TOPICS WHATSOEVER, WILL BE DELETED AND WILL NOT BE ANSWERED.
ANY OTHER EMAILS FOR THE TRIBUNAL SHOULD ONLY BE SENT TO [email protected]

Maybe as there has been a long wait, the original pin won't work. 😕

OP posts:
IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 19/06/2022 11:00

Last time the pin was the same for everyone. I PMed a few people with it. If someone could do the same this time then I think that would be a public service.

I emailed for access yesterday. I hope someone is tasked to send responses out as soon as they get in to the office tomorrow.

WookeyHole · 19/06/2022 20:23

Sorry I've missed something... so it's NOT the same pin?

legaltigger · 19/06/2022 20:24

Checking in. Won't be able to watch but will be here to read.

ohDearMeToo · 19/06/2022 20:55

Mail from Allison to supporters on 17/6 seemed to suggest she thought that the old details would not continue to work. I really hope that's wrong, but mailed asking for new details anyway. Not optimistic about getting them by 10am tomorrow, and would really appreciate a DM, if it turns out we need new details.

Imnotavetbut · 19/06/2022 21:14

I'm late sending my email requesting access. I still have the details from the previous but will have to keep my fingers crossed. I've saved a pile of ironing to do as I watch so I don't lose (yet another) day to watching an employment tribunal. Hopefully I'll get the code in time, I'm looking forward to another dose of Ben.

SpinningRoundRightRound · 19/06/2022 23:09

If anyone is able to directly access the hearing tomorrow, I'd appreciate any posts on this thread as I'll be out a hospital appointment most of the morning.

Will catch up later.

Do we have an idea of the order that the various QCs will be summing up in?
