Allison Bailey v Stonewall - Employment Tribunal hearing Thread 17

The Tribunal started on 25th April, witness testimony concluded on the 26th May. Closing arguments for council will be on the 20th June. I don't know if the existing links and pins will work. I will email nearer the time to check.

If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access.
Send an email to

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 20th June 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

Poor EJG, does she always look like that? She looks like someone who’s lost the will to live 😕

AH goes out of his way to say McGahey was an impressive, decent, honest and truthful witness.
I don't doubt she believed what she said. But what she said was still awful.

Hochhauser now claiming the AB was accusing Morgan Page of criminal misconduct in that tweet. FFS man, massive overreach there.

I think EJG pretty much always looks like that - maybe this whole case has just been very trying

Can't believe they are not given allotted time slots, given how limited the time is!

This is why it would have been helpful to be able to read through the closing submissions before it goes live - it would have been valuable to have a context to slot things into. As stand-alone statements in the wilderness they just draw more attention to what they would probably like to distance themselves from (see also SA rugby...)

AH's summing up felt a bit rambling to me - but then I know I'm biased 😅are there any law types here who have a more informed opinion
