Allison Bailey v Stonewall - Employment Tribunal hearing Thread 17

The Tribunal started on 25th April, witness testimony concluded on the 26th May. Closing arguments for council will be on the 20th June. I don't know if the existing links and pins will work. I will email nearer the time to check.

If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access.

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 20th June 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The risk as presented in evidence was (IIRC) that AB might challenge and manhandle a transwoman in the female loos!

She is going on about KM. Very well aware that they are on dodgy ground there.
To be fair SW may be able to wriggle out of anything else - KM was the most damaging of their witnesses.

This is actually relevant so a bit annoying she remembered this. Diversity champions and Workplace Equality Index are different.

I was thinking more along the lines of a random by-passer. Just someone to kindly tell her she's done really well and why doesn't she go and get a biscuit from the kitchen now and let someone else have a go.

Yes - KM was the one who issued the direct statement to GCC detailing all AB's "crimes" in the eyes of Stonewall, with the ominous parting words: "I trust you'll do what is right" (or similar)

to sum up, SW is not at fault in any way at all, Allison is a bigot and deserves every thing that she got, any volunteers that align to SW are nothing to do we them, and medcalf was gently suggesting some stuff.

I'm disappointed that they get equal allocations of time when SW have such a relatively small amount of evidence to consider.

IO is twiddling with her hair trying to answer the judge. She's very uncomfortable

I really want to make a joke about having a 'mental element' but it wouldn't be in the spirit.
