The subject heading of the email request should read

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The court chat function is there for official court purposes, not for observers, please don't use it unless you have a technical issue.

It's very hard not to yell out when the other side are speaking and talking rubbish (and I've only had experience in planning appeals). When it's your own life it must be really hard. She is a professional though and has been trained in patience until you can rebut calmly with evidence.

Boiledbeetle · 20/06/2022 11:35

Look i know I'm rooting for the other side so I'm biased. But this presentation by IO is absolutely abysmal. UP

It's honestly like she only read this half an hour before the hearing.

Chrysanthemum5 · 20/06/2022 11:35

I'd have to have some sort of avatar which was able to take my place on camera

Ameanstreakamilewide · 20/06/2022 11:35

I've ironed the school uniform and hoovered round while IO has been umming and ahhing.

EmbarrassingHadrosaurus · 20/06/2022 11:36

oviraptor21 · 20/06/2022 11:34

I counted 7 "the"s in a row at one point 😬

Irritating as it is, I rely on captions to follow speech all the time. We pretty much all speak like this.

Chrysanthemum5 · 20/06/2022 11:36

So KM didn't know AB at all - but knew her very presence would be dangerous to his team

Pyjamagame · 20/06/2022 11:36

"at risk" - please someone ask what the risk was.

malloo · 20/06/2022 11:36

Roll on Ben Cooper, this is painful

Pluvia · 20/06/2022 11:36

Think I caught quite a long disbelieving stare with eyebrows raised from the judge there.

This is painful.

Chrysanthemum5 · 20/06/2022 11:37

Pyjamagame · 20/06/2022 11:36

"at risk" - please someone ask what the risk was.

Their original evidence was that they may have come across AB in the loos May d been challenged about their right to be there. It was a very racist argument playing on the angry black woman trope

LipbalmOrKnickers · 20/06/2022 11:38

Good grief, this is just embarrassing. It feels like someone should step in and tell her that she should stop now and let someone else have a turn.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/06/2022 11:38

@EmbarrassingHadrosaurus No this is next level of hesitant.

I bet AH and BC won't speak like this. There will be some hesitations but this is particularly noticeable.

chilling19 · 20/06/2022 11:38

Pyjamagame · 20/06/2022 11:36

"at risk" - please someone ask what the risk was.

I hope Ej asks for clarification of the risk. I think she tried during the evidentiary phase (or was it the fab Martin) and didn't get an answer then either, apart from some guff about being scared in the toilets,

Chrysanthemum5 · 20/06/2022 11:38

I wonder if IO's documents were prepared for her by RMW? That may explain her challenges in finding things

LipbalmOrKnickers · 20/06/2022 11:39

I also want IO to stop using the word 'finally' if she doesn't really mean it.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/06/2022 11:39

Right. I could do with a other break now please. I need to put my washing on.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 20/06/2022 11:39

That's my understanding of it, as well, chilling.

Chrysanthemum5 · 20/06/2022 11:40

So SW's case seems to be that it was all GCC because they mistakenly believed they would get lots of work from SW

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/06/2022 11:40

She's much more fluent when she's giving opinions rather than setting out the law.

Rightsraptor · 20/06/2022 11:40

Do we know the general view taken by lawyers of public viewing of such tribunals?

They must surely hate it. Because I've seen some barristers on this AB case that I would never engage on a case.

Pyjamagame · 20/06/2022 11:40

Yes, I heard the original. But will Ben Copper pick up on it in his submission? Or will the judge consider it when looking at the evidence and arguments?

Birdsweepsin · 20/06/2022 11:40

LipbalmOrKnickers · 20/06/2022 11:38

Good grief, this is just embarrassing. It feels like someone should step in and tell her that she should stop now and let someone else have a turn.

RMW? 😕

Boiledbeetle · 20/06/2022 11:40

So KM can say what he's likes because he never followed it up! Ok then so therefore so can Allison

ickky · 20/06/2022 11:41

LipbalmOrKnickers · 20/06/2022 11:39

I also want IO to stop using the word 'finally' if she doesn't really mean it.

I know. She keeps getting my hopes up and then umm's and ahh's some more.

chilling19 · 20/06/2022 11:41

SW now denying the cultural chilling effect of its actions.
