Pfft pfftpft pffft.

Blghhhhhhhh

ThinkWittyThoughts · 29/05/2022 20:07

Oh dear. You do need to keep in the tea for about 5 seconds, to let most of the biscuit become soggy (but not drop to bottom of cup)

In other news I found 2 pictures of my giant Jaffa cake (not Jamie cake - bloody autocarrot)

Hopefully they load

For all the Ben Cooper fans, he will next be starring in the Prof Jo Phoenix vs The Open University Employment Tribunal, date to be confirmed.

Much like Kathleen Stock, she was hounded out of her job.

Prof Jo also has a Crowdfunder if you are so inclined.

@SpindleSheWrote & @theemperorhasnoclothes

This is not an organic movement. It is worldwide. There is some big money behind this campaign. It has infiltrated governments and public bodies all across the world and all at the same time.

Movements don't usually happen that way.

That looks delicious. I also agree about tea with Bourbons and Custard Creams. You have to know the dropping point though or it ruins the tea.

Fellow tribunal watchers, am posting here now (though may go on to Chat) because we have a wren in need of support Shock Sad.

We think our dog disturbed a ground nest in the garden earlier today and killed one baby Sad and the other is sitting in the middle of our lawn. It has some feathers and some fluff. We are very rural with at least one cat nearby which I know comes into our garden. A parent is still coming to see it atm but i can't imagine it will survive if we leave it where it is over night.

What should we do? I think move it into a shrub at the edge of our garden where hopefully the mum/dad will find it? What do you think?

ickky · 29/05/2022 20:31

Hello HELLO

Where has everyone gone?

I bet you are all stuffing your faces with biscuits.

@ickky ! I need help with the baby wren!

User237845 · 29/05/2022 20:35

Sorry cross post. We could try but the nest was in a hole in our lawn (long story, also outing!) So it is used to being subterranean, weirdly. God knows how the nest survived so long where it was with cats and dogs and whatnot. Poor little thing.

After a quick google it said they usually nest in hollows or a crevice in a tree. I don't really know what to suggest. Can you post in AIBU, it gets a lot of traffic.

Thanks, Ickky, much more sensible, it was just because it was a little wren, it seemed appropriate! (But obv don't want to derail the legal chat inordinately!)

That's okay, it has turned into a biscuits odyssey anyway Grin

On further reading, it says a hedge is okay as long as it is sheltered and not too far from where you found it.

Do we know yet if Jo's tribunal will also be online?

Oh thank God!!

First I not so funnily killed you off. Plot twist don't panic!

Then a poor wren was reported as injured.....

I was beginning to think I'd caused some horrible real world imaginary world crossover

But you're here ! And well??? I hope!

This new Mumsnet site software goes unstable if you ever reach the 15555th post on a topic, then this happens, whatever this is.

ickky · 29/05/2022 21:05

I'm not sure. It should be available. I will keep an eye on her fundraiser for updates.

If I know the area and the date, I can find the remote viewing request details.

If BBC 4 could obtain permission to set up a streaming service for tribunals like this, Ben Cooper it could yet be the saving of them…

Nothing bad, I hope…just going to catch up with the thread no- what the fuck????

Read on, it turned into a typical drama's cliffhanger to make sure that we all tuned in for further installments.
