The benefit of hindsight 😂

Penny drops

GAHgamel · 26/05/2022 12:18

WTF were you having a contentious conversation while you were driving your kids around?

malloo · 26/05/2022 12:18

she was in the car, she had her kids in the car..... she can't be held responsible for anything.....

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 26/05/2022 12:19

a new excuse for terrible discriminatory behaviour:
"I was in my car, I had my kids in the car"

SidewaysOtter · 26/05/2022 12:19

“If I hadn’t done things wrong, I’d have done them right.”

Is that the crux of her argument?

Mmmnotsure · 26/05/2022 12:19

BC: SK is calling you for how to manage people's concerns re attending round table in chambers. Signposting him to a complaints policy that would take place after that meeting doesn't help.

BC: if concern was to reassure people attending meeting, your advice should be something eg c reassuring people organising the meeting, eg tell them that AB not in chambers that day

MB: Mr Cooper the benefit of hindsight is a great thing. I was in the car with my kids (is that on the bingo card)

chilling19 · 26/05/2022 12:19

Boiledbeetle · 26/05/2022 12:18

quick question...

anyone believe her???

anyone??

No

katmarie · 26/05/2022 12:19

Add 'it was a six minute conversation' to the bingo card

IloveHolby · 26/05/2022 12:19

@Gabcsika did you just keep trying? I'm still not back in.

Mrskettleson · 26/05/2022 12:19

Nope, don’t believe her at all!

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 26/05/2022 12:20

anyone believe her???

No

CatsOperatingInGangs · 26/05/2022 12:20

Just got back after a meeting and interesting that MB sounds much more Scottish than at first. The veneer of professionalism has disappeared. As a contrast, BC looks to be in his element

Boiledbeetle · 26/05/2022 12:20

so stressed, in the car, kids, 6 minutes, and yet she seems to have near perfect???recollection of what was said?????

Appalonia · 26/05/2022 12:20

She could have told them to bring a support doggie!

PrelateChuckles · 26/05/2022 12:20

So MB also now agrees that the panic of being accused of transphobia influenced her to act in a way that, in hindsight, she might not otherwise have chosen to do.

yet they all maintain that accusations of transphobia don't influence people to do anything, for example question their willingness to accept male people as sexual partners.

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 26/05/2022 12:21

"Knann's concern about the venue of GCC was connected with AB's tweets"

Gabcsika · 26/05/2022 12:21

IloveHolby · 26/05/2022 12:19

@Gabcsika did you just keep trying? I'm still not back in.

Yeah. I gave it a two minute break and then it worked again. I think you just need to keep trying.

I had the same issue on my phone too.

FetchezLaVache · 26/05/2022 12:21

Is this whole line of questioning at the moment not just reinforcing the fact that TRAs can only operate in an echo chamber?

Bosky · 26/05/2022 12:21

TON Roundtable - what does "TON" stand for??

Boiledbeetle · 26/05/2022 12:21

i clearly recollect....it had nothing to do with me

Zeugma · 26/05/2022 12:21

'It was only a 6-minute call' joins 'kids were in the car' and 'it was 1.38am' and 'I was on a beach'.

GAHgamel · 26/05/2022 12:21

BC picking up the discrepancy between what she has just said and what is in her witness statement. MB going with "I thought it was implicit... I'm sorry if it wasn't clear enough"

Mmmnotsure · 26/05/2022 12:22

MB: I was on holiday. bingo

nauticant · 26/05/2022 12:22

Shaan is now the vulnerable human shield. Luckily there are quite a few of them available in these proceedings.

SidewaysOtter · 26/05/2022 12:22

“I was on holiday, I was in the car”

Do we need to extend the bingo card?
