and how were Allison stress and anxiety levels at the time? did you ask her???

Ereshkigalangcleg · 26/05/2022 12:22

The other thing the cotton-ceiling workshop brought to mind is pick-up artistryry_. If you haven’t come across this delightful male subculture, it’s one in which men share techniques for getting laid. A few are rather sensible, such as turning yourself out well and resolving any self-esteem issues before entering the dating market. But mostly, it’s about such delights as “negging” (subtly insulting a woman to make her feel less secure in her own desirability) and ways to overcome “last-minute resistance”—that is, a woman you think you’re about to have sex with saying “no”.^

Spot on from Helen, as someone who once dated a PUA.

"I gave Shaan my time even though I WAS ON HOLIDAY"

LolaLouLou · 26/05/2022 12:22

Throwing her colleagues under the bus

LipbalmOrKnickers · 26/05/2022 12:22

Have we already got 'really stressed' on the bingo card? I literally can't keep up!

LipbalmOrKnickers · 26/05/2022 12:23

On holiday again.

WallaceinAnderland · 26/05/2022 12:23

On holiday. Bingo!

CriticalCondition · 26/05/2022 12:23

She's really angry now. And yes, as Pluvia said, l think she's scared. She absolutely believes she is right but can see how this might end very badly for her.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 26/05/2022 12:24

On holiday! DRINK!

chilling19 · 26/05/2022 12:24

MB - voice is rising and you could fry an egg on her face

TopKnotch · 26/05/2022 12:24

SidewaysOtter · 26/05/2022 12:25

“I was on holiday”

”I was on holiday with my kids”

”I was on holiday with my kids and my family”

Who else is coming along? Were there any emotional support animals in this entourage?

TopKnotch · 26/05/2022 12:25

MB "I don't want to be disrespectful to SK"

No worries about being disrespectful to AB though. Even being fine with others referring to her as *"the terfy barrister"

Ereshkigalangcleg · 26/05/2022 12:26

By your "most vulnerable" cohort, threatening women, Michelle.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 26/05/2022 12:26

Wasn't on social media...

Baystard · 26/05/2022 12:26

Urgh it's just depressing watching this, she seems to be an intelligent individual and yet...

Ereshkigalangcleg · 26/05/2022 12:27

Of course it was never a neutral term, it's clearly loaded.

Boiledbeetle · 26/05/2022 12:27

i so want Ben to pull out of the bag something where she uses terf as a slur.

WomensLandArmy · 26/05/2022 12:28

'male-bodied person' is as insulting as 'terf', bollocks!

AlisonDonut · 26/05/2022 12:28

I can't get back in either.

chilling19 · 26/05/2022 12:28
