If I log in this afternoon as I'm Not on Twitter, will they kick me out do we think?

😂

LipbalmOrKnickers · 26/05/2022 11:51

Another 'if I'd wanted to, I would have done'. I don't think that necessarily provide the defence she thinks it does, it just shows the extreme confidence she has to behave however she likes in complete confidence that her motivations are beyond reproach.

Mmmnotsure · 26/05/2022 11:51

MB: There was no gossiping or whispering in the corridors about AB.
Under oath.
Perhaps they only did it in offices/over whatsapp/in phone calls.

Yes as it show bias.

BC - relentless Rottweiler now activated

Boiledbeetle · 26/05/2022 11:53

and onto this was nothing to do with me I was an Innocent conduit of information, think of me as a chambers yellow pages/google.

i paraphrase

SidewaysOtter · 26/05/2022 11:53

Good grief, this morning has been a Herculean task to keep up with. I’m absolutely not in a meeting with my headphones actually plugged into my iPad (which lends itself to the rather schizophrenic experience of trying to follow two conversations at once…)

I’ve never heard so much waffle in my life and now she’s getting a bit snotty. Going to need a little lie down and some juice at this rate.

StrongOutspokenOftenIrritating · 26/05/2022 11:53

I’m not London based. But also I know there was no gossip in the corridors

GAHgamel · 26/05/2022 11:53

If she wasn't in a position of influence, why does she think David Renton brought his concerns to her in the first place? Given that she also says she doesn't really know him.

WallaceinAnderland · 26/05/2022 11:53

MB I would have rather not been a conduit for people coming to me expressing concerns about AB.

So she WAS a conduit.

MB is the only witness so far that has said ABs tweets were transphobic. Others have all said she had legitimate views but may be seen as provocative.

Chrysanthemum5 · 26/05/2022 11:53

For gods sake MB just answer a question! How is AH going to bring this back in his cross?

ZandathePanda · 26/05/2022 11:54

Someone on this board once showed a photo montage of the white men making rules (that affected women single sex spaces) and then how they had been caught in sexual crimes verses black women going to court about this. I would love to see what MB makes of that and:
also Pip Bunce
also do Transmen suddenly show male patterns of violence?

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 26/05/2022 11:54

"you can't have it both ways"

Exactly, MB. If you include TW in our single sex spaces as women then you are also excluding women who do not want to be around male people.

Honestly, she can't see the four fingers pointing back to her. Bit of a worry seeing as how she's a judge.

nauticant · 26/05/2022 11:55

MB didn't want to be a conduit because she wanted to be in charge of orchestration while others did the deeds.

chilling19 · 26/05/2022 11:55

'If I wanted...'

Pyjamagame · 26/05/2022 11:55

'Will someone rid me of this meddlesome priest?'

GAHgamel · 26/05/2022 11:55

Another "if I wanted to do XYZ, I would have done it" denial, rather than a No, when asked if she was encouraging Gendered Intelligence to complain.

WallaceinAnderland · 26/05/2022 11:56

What was already in the public domain or about to be in the public domain.

chilling19 · 26/05/2022 11:56

MB - There was nowhere in that email where I said put in a complaint

BC - hold my beer

FourExcellentQuestions · 26/05/2022 11:56

So difficult to keep up with the thread, watch, and try to do some vague attempt at work today!

I don't understand how they can think this is a good legal strategy? Or is it that they would rather lose the case than be heretics.

You can see how people end up dying for their faith can't you.

Clymene · 26/05/2022 11:57

She's a lawyer. Of course she doesn't put in writing 'you should make a complaint'. But writing 'if you want to make a complaint ...' is an invitation.

Which amounts to the same thing.

FourExcellentQuestions · 26/05/2022 11:57

Pyjamagame · 26/05/2022 11:55

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 26/05/2022 11:57

How does someone so obtuse get made a judge??? Very disturbing.

Pluvia · 26/05/2022 11:57

I suspect she's on the edge of panic. I've been under heavy crossfire on the stand as a witness, and I got very stressed by the aggression of the barrister cross-examining me. Apparently I drank glass after glass of water. I wasn't aware of it. Panic made my mouth dry. She's decided that attack is the best form of defence. I think the judge and other tribunal members will see it. She's up against a wall and fighting for her credibility.

Remember, this woman wasn't just a founder of TELI and doesn't just think the LGBA is a hate group and hasn't put the rights of a black lesbian colleague far below the rights of a trans colleague — she is also a JUDGE.

WallaceinAnderland · 26/05/2022 11:57

MB looking stressed now.
