Judge scribbling like mad

WallaceinAnderland · 26/05/2022 15:51

SH I accept I made a mistake

nauticant · 26/05/2022 15:51

This is just awful. Since McGahey fed back into the complaints process, then not deliberately withholding part of the material from AB must have risked negatively influencing the process for AB.

Clymene · 26/05/2022 15:51

She omitted the bit which said 'because otherwise why would a workshop be necessary'.

She was assisting them to come to the right decision. Obviously

chilling19 · 26/05/2022 15:51

SH - liar, liar, pants on fire. You took out that para on purpose.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 26/05/2022 15:51

Have I missed something, or has RMW not spoken at all apart from the odd comment? Is that usual for a junior?

JR has done a few of the cross examinations. I'm a bit disappointed to be honest!

nauticant · 26/05/2022 15:51

Bah.

This is just awful. Since McGahey fed back into the complaints process, then deliberately withholding part of the material from AB so McGahey wouldn't see it must have risked negatively influencing the process for AB.

Clymene · 26/05/2022 15:52

EmpressaurusWitchDoesntBurn · 26/05/2022 15:49

Have I missed something, or has RMW not spoken at all apart from the odd comment? Is that usual for a junior?

No, has said nothing virtually the entire time

Pyjamagame · 26/05/2022 15:52

Goodness, if I was dealing with this I would have sent everything. So that the BSB could come to their own judgement based on ALL the material.

Mollyollydolly · 26/05/2022 15:52

Go on Ben.

WallaceinAnderland · 26/05/2022 15:52

BC Editing of language and words affects their meaning.

chilling19 · 26/05/2022 15:50

Just so we are clear, the first article that comes up when I googled 'cotton ceiling' is this from the fab Miranda Yardley.

medium.com/{mention:mirandayardley}/girl-dick-the-cotton-ceiling-and-the-cultural-war-on-lesbians-and-women-c323b4789368

I've just Googled too, & got this from Angela Wild of Wild Womyn Workshop. www.filia.org.uk/latest-news/2019/11/9/what-is-the-cotton-ceiling

Zeugma · 26/05/2022 15:52

The next time they all get together for a friendly coffee is going to be fun.

ickky · 26/05/2022 15:52

It seems SH asked and directed the "guidance" to anything that supports the GCC position. Which as we all know is pro trans.

If it is not their position in words it certainly is in deeds.

You would, if you weren't biased, I would have thought.

tabbycatstripy · 26/05/2022 15:53

I don't believe her. I was prepared to, but I don't.

Pluvia · 26/05/2022 15:53

SH gave a strange, strained little laugh when she said that the cuts she'd made to AB's piece on the cotton ceiling weren't in any way made with the intention of misleading or making things more difficult for Allison.

I don't think I've heard her laugh like that elsewhere when giving evidence. Very odd.

dworky · 26/05/2022 15:53

Pyjamagame · 26/05/2022 15:52

As would any reasonable person

Clymene · 26/05/2022 15:53

No she didn't miss that bit out - ignore me!

Mollyollydolly · 26/05/2022 15:53

Her body language. She's got an itchy arse too.

Mmmnotsure · 26/05/2022 15:53

SH: I was sending what I thought CM wanted to see.

BC: you edited claimant's response to make it look ridiculous.

[Given CM's views as expressed yesterday, that is exactly what CM would have wanted to see - nothing that helped AB and whatever would help CM further her own agenda.]

P.S. It's MS's fault.

WallaceinAnderland · 26/05/2022 15:53

Surely it's easier just to send the whole thing than edit it?

GAHgamel · 26/05/2022 15:54

Surely if you're provided a copy of the report before it's finalised, that's not the final report?

TheBiologyStupid · 26/05/2022 15:54

SH has just switched sides on my screen and I'd swear her nose has grown in the last few minutes!

dworky · 26/05/2022 15:54

Aaannd another witness's credibility hits the floor.
