Gosh... imagine having to work with all these awful people.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 25/05/2022 15:58

I guess SS isn't going to be called as a witness?

Chrysanthemum5 · 25/05/2022 15:58

KC just be an excellent QC because she's managing to find excuses for SS's rudeness every time

SettingsO · 25/05/2022 15:59

Oh god, if I were being questioned by BC the words 'I'll come back to that Ms Settings0' would fill me fear!

WallaceinAnderland · 25/05/2022 15:59

Feel like we need someone to walk behind Ben holding up page numbers a la wrestling matches

Pyjamagame · 25/05/2022 16:00

StrongOutspokenOftenIrritating · 25/05/2022 15:50

An opportunity to show the hundreds of women listening in while working, tending to children, walking the dog, etc etc

I've nearly finished decorating my study/spare bedroom with this case going on. Just finished painting some cupboards today. Tomorrow I'll paint the curtain pole and finials. I've done walls, floors, skirting boards, hefted furniture around taken down and rehung curtains, hung all the pictures back -the juicing lot. Plus all the gardening I got done when waiting for paint to dry. I should have a starring role in this!

awkwardoldlady · 25/05/2022 16:01

QC at GCC

LipbalmOrKnickers · 25/05/2022 16:01

Chrysanthemum5 · 25/05/2022 15:55

But no @LipbalmOrKnickers SS had to take time away from vulnerable clients to do the search and then more time to write several arsey emails. Of course he could have complied at first and saved a lot of time

I meant KC rambling response but should have been clearer - and agree with you re SS. Another prince of a man.

nauticant · 25/05/2022 16:01

KC justifying the nature of SS's correspondence on the basis that it was in the context of litigation. That's the exact context when SS's horrible comments are at their most inappropriate.

SettingsO · 25/05/2022 16:02

Ooooh, Ben's been told off!

WomensLandArmy · 25/05/2022 16:02

More puking here, what have I missed?

nauticant · 25/05/2022 16:03

Effectively WomensLandArmy, that when AB made a Subject Access Request to GCC, the person they handed it to, Stephen Simblet QC, dealt with it in an exceptionally unpleasant way.

EmpressaurusWitchDoesntBurn · 25/05/2022 16:03

Who's telling Ben off????

TheBiologyStupid · 25/05/2022 16:04

WomensLandArmy · 25/05/2022 16:02

Sorry to hear that - hope DC feels better soon.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 25/05/2022 16:04

JR would never miss an opportunity to have a swipe at BC.

Gabcsika · 25/05/2022 16:04

Fucking hell. I think there must be gossip spreading round like wildfire. We've seen all these supposedly intelligent QCs etc stuttering, erming, shouting, going red, blustering....

It's just unbelieveable, isn't it?

Brewer and Harrison must all be quaking in their boots.

ickky · 25/05/2022 16:04

SS responded to Peter Daly SAR request with a request of his own for payment to disclose the SAR.

When informed that no payment is due, referenced ICO guildines. SS wrote back a very rude letter saying he had nothing and was not at all interested in any of AB's views or opinions and twice referenced a public begging campaign. Also said that his letter could not be reproduced or used for any purposes.

Well that worked well.

Was it JR?

TheBiologyStupid · 25/05/2022 16:05

EmpressaurusWitchDoesntBurn · 25/05/2022 16:03

Who's telling Ben off????

EJ Goodman - he talked over the witness.

awkwardoldlady · 25/05/2022 16:05

KC who conducted the inquiry into victimisation explaining how "you might very think that I'm afraid I couldn't possibly comment" on pretty much everything

I'm not buying this, but then IANAL.

Think it was the judge? She just has 'Employment...' in front of her on my screen. For talking over the witness. I got the impression she is a woman used to men trying to talk over her!

Chrysanthemum5 · 25/05/2022 16:06

Maybe RMW fell asleep?
