‘Their apologies are so nice!’

She missed a calling as a primary school teacher.

Zeugma · 25/05/2022 16:25

Allison's case has been so stressful for people in chambers.

Not stressful for Allison?

nauticant · 25/05/2022 16:18

Because Ameanstreakamilewide that would simply be a rude man explaining how his rude email was not rude. BC is going after a biased investigation by GCC which is far more potent to show prejudicial treatment.

KC's disembodied giant hands are freaking me out

They remind me of Kenny Everett with the giant hands.

Another GCC person "astounded" to find herself accused of less-than-wonderful behaviour! How very dare AB!

tabbycatstripy · 25/05/2022 16:26

BC rightly points out the asymmetric treatment of AB and SS, even though AB is the one bringing the discrimination claim and hers were the protected acts.

katmarie · 25/05/2022 16:26

Allison's apology was so nice.... It's infantilising, no?

ifIwerenotanandroid · 25/05/2022 16:26

Did SS have to apologise to anyone?

RoaringtoLangClegintheDark · 25/05/2022 16:27

KC trying to make out that SS was “provoked” by the legitimate request from PD on behalf of Allison, and therefore justified in his abusive response.

“She deserved it”, yet again.

Boak.

Bosky · 25/05/2022 16:28

ifIwerenotanandroid · 25/05/2022 16:26

Did SS have to apologise to anyone?

AB and SS had to apologise to each other.

Don't know if SS was required to apologise to Peter Daly.

On twitter when you receive a reply to a tweet of yours, does it appear in your home time line? I have to confess that with my little-used twitter account I rarely look at my home time line.

Comes up in "Notifications"

LipbalmOrKnickers · 25/05/2022 16:29

Well, it was six of one, and half-a-dozen of the other wasn't it? 🙄

tabbycatstripy · 25/05/2022 16:29

But she annoyed him! Of course he was entitled to be abusive towards her!

🙄

nauticant · 25/05/2022 16:30

I don't know who said it, but blimey!, KC and her MASSIVE hands.

(At least as presented by the camera.)

TheBiologyStupid · 25/05/2022 16:30

No more questions. JR re-examining.

ickky · 25/05/2022 16:30

BC finished with KC, JR to cross.

Costs relating to detriment 1 do not apply to KC

You've articulated what bothered me most about his response. A SAR is a neutral act of requesting data, if you hold data on me I have a right to request a copy of it. You as the data holder have a responsibility to produce it (within some limits). I find it hard to understand why anyone would be so furiously nasty about a data request. It seems to me that there was an underlying hostility to AB already, otherwise SS response is a massive overreaction.

RoaringtoLangClegintheDark · 25/05/2022 16:31

ifIwerenotanandroid · 25/05/2022 16:26

Did SS have to apologise to anyone?

It sounds like they both had to apologise, but notable that she said Allison’s apology was actually the kinder, more sincere of the two, even though it seems to me she had far less to apologise for, if anything at all.

All that shows to me is how AB is fundamentally a much more decent human being.

TheBiologyStupid · 25/05/2022 16:31

And she's still labelled on screen as AH - I don't think they're faking their technological incompetence.

Boiledbeetle · 25/05/2022 16:32

Watching this I notice the tribunal judge had a nice crest behind her.

The tribunal judge at my tribunal just had about three weeks worth of ironing sat behind her!

Birdsweepsin · 25/05/2022 16:32

If this was Midsomer Murders, Kathryn definitely saw the murder happen, but won't tell as she likes the person who did it

tabbycatstripy · 25/05/2022 16:33

‘I find it hard to understand why anyone would be so furiously nasty about a data request. It seems to me that there was an underlying hostility to AB already, otherwise SS response is a massive overreaction.’

Exactly.

tabbycatstripy · 25/05/2022 16:33

‘He had a dramatically busy practice.’

He had time to write War and Peace in response to the polite request, though.

nauticant · 25/05/2022 16:33

KC: SS was rightfully agrieved at receiving such a wide-ranging SAR. [Implying that his incredible rudeness was understandable.]

No, KC, it doesn't work like that.

ickky · 25/05/2022 16:34

Is it really that onerous to search your emails for an SAR?
