Allison Bailey v Stonewall - Employment Tribunal hearing Thread 17

The Tribunal started on 25th April, witness testimony concluded on the 26th May. Closing arguments for council will be on the 20th June. I don't know if the existing links and pins will work. I will email nearer the time to check.

If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access.

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 20th June 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

Ha! MB bumping the rubbish bin in the car. I don't remember that bit. I didn't see all of MB's evidence.

Unless you've got an underlying problem in your set-up Mmmnotsure, you've just got to keep logging out and then back in again till you can see and hear the tribunal.

You just have to keep trying. It's very busy, all waiting for Ben Cooper. I can see people joining every few seconds.

That bit has to be in the film. With dramatic music. And the bin falling over in slow motion as passers by gasp.

Massive Spliffs?

First ever mention of MB colliding with a bin while on a call with SK! Minor collision has always been unspecified before.

Does anyone remember the bin? I think we would have remembered it, even against the general farce of some of the witness testimony.

I think the bin incident in new in terms of testimony or argument given in court.

Who was the man of a nervous disposition? Is that the vulnerable employee or KM or SK?

I thought it was KM, and it came across weirdly sexist. Not that I'd dispute it as a factual statement but still, I got a slight whiff of "ugh, those bloody female men and their nervous dispositions."
