MB to AH it wasn't me, i didn't do it (again paraphrasing)

Birdsweepsin · 26/05/2022 12:55

Just because all my SW friends were telling me AB was a transphobic bigot doesn't mean I agreed. Hmmm.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 26/05/2022 12:56

Very capable of a one or two, or even three word answer then. Whoulda thunk it?

Zeugma · 26/05/2022 12:56

Nice short answers to AH's questions. No waffling now, eh?

WookeyHole · 26/05/2022 12:56

She's definitely gone more Scottish now.

Boiledbeetle · 26/05/2022 12:56

MB visibly perking up now its nearly over

tabbycatstripy · 26/05/2022 12:57

I took from that: she clearly does think gender critical views are transphobic and that gender critical women are privileged, racist bigots; she was genuinely offended by AB's posts about Stonewall; she probably did encourage people to make complaints and is lying about it; she probably didn't involve herself in removing work from AB.

TopKnotch · 26/05/2022 12:58

So few words. Such clarity. Such immediate, concise replies.

Agree, she is so steadfast in TWAW, she can see nothing else.

Please let MR ask a question

CriticalCondition · 26/05/2022 12:59

It will be interesting to hear what Stephanie Harrison has to say about her relationship/dealings with MB.

Boiledbeetle · 26/05/2022 13:00

I actually wish I was a man right now so i could sit here stroking my big bushy beard. whilst giving MB a raised eye brow stare.

I'd want one like bens, but with another 4 years growth.

ickky · 26/05/2022 13:00

Going back to MB's statement saying Male Bodied Person in akin to terfs.

Exactly what language can be used? We cannot use Man or Male bodied.

WookeyHole · 26/05/2022 13:00

More bundle bobbins.

Chrysanthemum5 · 26/05/2022 13:01

I don't think she actively said to anyone to not give worn to Allison and I don't think anyone else in GCC did that - but I do think they gossiped and made it clear that Allison was out of favour

nauticant · 26/05/2022 13:01

I don't know what's wrong with me today but whenever I hear "authority" my brain automatically fills in "to kill a minority".

yourhairiswinterfire · 26/05/2022 13:01

Birdsweepsin · 26/05/2022 12:55

Just because all my SW friends were telling me AB was a transphobic bigot doesn't mean I agreed. Hmmm.

Hang on, she's the one who referred to Allison's email about SW as ''dirty transphobic laundry'', isn't she?

Chrysanthemum5 · 26/05/2022 13:01

What has been added in the new bundle?

Yes BC beard needs to be bigger, if for nothing else, his support wren should be able to make a nest in it.

Crazylazydayz · 26/05/2022 12:54

If MB had no knowledge of "no debate" or anything that Stonewall was doing how can she equivocally state there is no evidence that "Stonewall [is] complicit in a campaign of harassment, intimidation and threats" ?

I guess she is just saying that she hasn't seen any evidence.
Fact is she has blinkered herself to it all.

She's never heard of "no debate".
She's not on Twitter or social media.
She's not aware of any work gossip because she's rarely in chambers.
She believes rumours that women at pride say that "all trans persons are rapists".
She thinks that calling someone "a terfy barrister" is like calling a male person "male bodied"

Eve Was Framed but Michelle Brewer sent her down.

BoreOfWhabylon · 26/05/2022 13:02

Phew! Just caught up last thread. Riveting stuff!

Chrysanthemum5 · 26/05/2022 13:02

Isn't it a bit rubbish to have new stuff added at this stage

WookeyHole · 26/05/2022 13:02

Oh God she's going to try and do something technical. On 'Bailey'.

WookeyHole · 26/05/2022 13:03

EJG clarifies that Bailey is some legal beagle system and nothing to do with AB.
