Remind me never ever ever ever to get a job at Garden Court Chambers.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 25/05/2022 12:25

Pictures of penises with threats makes DdM laugh.

Indeed. Very revealing.

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 25/05/2022 12:27

BC mentions abusive tweets with pictures of penises.

DMM LAUGHS.

Says it all.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 25/05/2022 12:27

BC - Quite obvious that a Twitter pile-on was happening to the Claimant.

DdM - Not, really.

Bosky · 25/05/2022 12:27

BC: "You must have seen pictures of penises with threats?"

D de M: snigger No!

WTF!! 😡

WomensLandArmy · 25/05/2022 12:27

ickky · 25/05/2022 12:26

Excellent. This casting lark is a piece of piss. 😀

Is that a support casting lark?

Boiledbeetle · 25/05/2022 12:27

Soooooo GCC were worried about reputational damage.

Their reputation is so far into the sewer system right now!

vivariumvivariumsvivaria · 25/05/2022 12:27

He's proper laughing at the idea of "pictures of penises as threats".

He's amused at the idea of a lesbian being sent images of penises.

What a scrote - he smirked right up until his next Action Man Swivel Eye Panic.

Allison, I hope you move on to somewhere that is a pleasure to work in. This lot look like their Christmas night out must have been a total chore.

oviraptor21 · 25/05/2022 12:29

EJ with head in both hands listening to DDM

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 25/05/2022 12:30

I used to work in a male dominated profession and I suspect that nearly all professional firms would stand up very badly to scrutiny like this. Not sticking up for GCC at all but I don't reckon that they're that unique in how they're coming across.

We need a revolution.

Scorched · 25/05/2022 12:30

AH are you suggesting my client is lying
BC Yes

WomensLandArmy · 25/05/2022 12:30

'I caaaaaaaant recaaaaaaaaal neooooow'

Boiledbeetle · 25/05/2022 12:30

They must all be going home after their time being grilled crying because they've realised they are the bigot! Not Allison!

Cailleach1 · 25/05/2022 12:31

So, were the abusive tweets regarded as 'funny' (based on this person's snigger) by GCC? Is that why they weren't classed as abusive. Ergo, they didn't see any abusive tweets.

WomensLandArmy · 25/05/2022 12:31

Boiledbeetle · 25/05/2022 12:30

They must all be going home after their time being grilled crying because they've realised they are the bigot! Not Allison!

Doubt it, bet they are full of self-rioutous indignation at being asked to justify their actions.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 25/05/2022 12:32

He actually sniggered at the word 'penises'.

FFS, man - grow up.

Chrysanthemum5 · 25/05/2022 12:32

Can't believe I missed EJG reading out the tweet - stupid work meeting

Chrysanthemum5 · 25/05/2022 12:33

Are we in a break?

Emotionalsupportviper · 25/05/2022 12:34

Ameanstreakamilewide · 25/05/2022 12:16

EJG - 'I'm going to bust you with a stick you stupid assholes'.

I mean!

I'll bet she has been dying to swear like a docker during all of the prevarications, obfuscations and appalling-paginations of this tribunal.

Now she has a chance and she's going to take it!

dworky · 25/05/2022 12:34

I can't help but hope this man lives alone, imagine having to listen to that voice everyday.

Boiledbeetle · 25/05/2022 12:34

@WomensLandArmy yeah you're unfortunately right! Shit isn't it!

dworky · 25/05/2022 12:34

Chrysanthemum5 · 25/05/2022 12:33

Are we in a break?

Yes

LipbalmOrKnickers · 25/05/2022 12:34

Yep, quick five mins.

Lio · 25/05/2022 12:35

@Chrysanthemum5 yes five min break (to watch PMQs maybe)

Lougle · 25/05/2022 12:35

I loved that exchange between BC and AH.

AH: "Are you suggesting my client is....lying because if you are, you should put it to him directly.
BC: "Well that's exactly what I'm suggesting."
