These examples of Simblet's anger at AB and then his obstruction in handling the SARs is really interesting to put together.

Pyjamagame · 25/05/2022 15:44

But no gossip about this in the Clerks' room?

I think there was a code.

did you see the match last night? = go check twitter

the crowd went wild = throwing Allison under the bus is working

that sort of thing.

WinterTrees · 25/05/2022 15:48

KC getting a bit flustered I think?

IcakethereforeIam · 25/05/2022 15:49

ifIwerenotanandroid · 25/05/2022 15:37

I was thinking we could show the first few words in real time & speed up until the last few words, a few times. Subtitled precis & shots of comatose watchers optional.

Inner monologue of miscellaneous interesting characters while droning goes on in the background?

Last minute substitutions = take AB off her next case
Corner = pretend to be on the phone when she comes in

Inner monologue of miscellaneous interesting characters while droning goes on in the background?

An opportunity to show the hundreds of women listening in while working, tending to children, walking the dog, etc etc

Gabcsika · 25/05/2022 15:50

"public begging campaign"😳

nauticant · 25/05/2022 15:51

Gosh, that is a really arsey letter from Simblet QC to AB's solicitors, showing himself in a rather poor light.

WinterTrees · 25/05/2022 15:51

'Public begging campaign'

Bloody hell. Men really underestimate the lengths women have to go to to make their voices heard, don't they?

Gabcsika · 25/05/2022 15:52

Who is Stephen Simbet exactly?

drwitch · 25/05/2022 15:52

Inner monologue of miscellaneous interesting characters while droning goes on in the background?

I think this could be in the titles - merged with all the out of touch things from the recent past that have been said in court

Mollyollydolly · 25/05/2022 15:52

God he sounds vile. Bill Roache mention though and Coronation Street. All of human life.

Chrysanthemum5 · 25/05/2022 15:53

SS does not sound like someone is want to spend time with

nauticant · 25/05/2022 15:53

Gosh, I now think that AB has a far better chance of winning the part of her claims based on detriment (v).

ickky · 25/05/2022 15:53

S. Simblet seems nice. 😯

"Public begging campaign" 😱

OMG! Comparison with Bill Roach!

And the rest - how insulting!!

"Public begging campaign" again!!

Gabcsika · 25/05/2022 15:52

Who is Stephen Simbet exactly?

a real sweetheart I'd say

LipbalmOrKnickers · 25/05/2022 15:54

Good grief you can tell that they get paid by the hour!

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 25/05/2022 15:54

Stephen Simblet QC - barrister at GCC
Bet he was big on football office gossip - from his bio: "His belief in hope over experience results in his active support of Nottingham Forest FC."
www.gardencourtchambers.co.uk/barristers/stephen-simblet-qc/sao

nauticant · 25/05/2022 15:54

Kathryn Cronin is really not enjoying being Stephen Simblet QC's human shield.

katmarie · 25/05/2022 15:55

Can't imagine why the respondents would not want these documents to be downloadable. I can't imagine that Mr Simblet's email there is going to win him clients and fans. Anyone crowd sourcing their legal fees now knows not to instruct him for a start.

Chrysanthemum5 · 25/05/2022 15:55

LipbalmOrKnickers · 25/05/2022 15:54

Good grief you can tell that they get paid by the hour!

But no @LipbalmOrKnickers SS had to take time away from vulnerable clients to do the search and then more time to write several arsey emails. Of course he could have complied at first and saved a lot of time

Boiledbeetle · 25/05/2022 15:56

Ben's ceiling light is killing my eyes.

nauticant · 25/05/2022 15:57

Looking at some of the documents we've seen over the past few weeks it's a scandal that the vast majority of them will cease to be publicly accessible when the proceedings close.

CriticalCondition · 25/05/2022 15:57

Gabcsika · 25/05/2022 15:52

Who is Stephen Simbet exactly?

Another QC and lovely member of GCC who responded to the SAR request from AB's solicitors.
