The Tribunal started on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The court chat function is there for official court purposes, not for observers, please don't use it unless you have a technical issue.

On the first page underneath where you put your screen name, select the video and mic that are not crossed out (top option), this is the courts vid and mic.
On the next page select NONE on the drop down windows for vid and mic, these are your own video and mic.

You must be muted so as to not disturb the hearing.

I'm trying to make toast and I'm completely unfamiliar with the technology could someone explain to me where I might place the bread?

You need the magic box with the little holes in the top. You lower the bread, wait a bit and it completely disappears! and then the toast fairies put toast in the bread's place.

SidewaysOtter · 25/05/2022 15:12

Fuck me, would Mr H not have enlightened himself as to how Twitter works BEFORE a Tribunal hearing?

“Now, a “retweet”…what is that?”

<dies of boredom>

Also DDM’s defence seems to be “There was something that needed to be taken into consideration in case it was a big issue but I didn’t consider whether the specifics of the issue needed to be considered”.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 25/05/2022 15:12

AH 'What was the volume of responses to the GC tweets?'

DDM 'Some'

tabbycatstripy · 25/05/2022 15:12

Exactly. It’s not a popularity contest.

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 25/05/2022 15:12

Why does DDM keep looking off to the side???

tigertactics · 25/05/2022 15:12

SelfPortraitWithFoxInSmokingJacket · 25/05/2022 15:10

God this is turgid. "Forgive me, Mr de Menezes, but I have never used the Interweb. I wonder if you could enlighten me - it appears that there is a mechanism for the exchange of information which does not rely on the physical movement of written text, is that correct?"

🤣

EmpressaurusWitchDoesntBurn · 25/05/2022 15:12

So these idiots have just demonstrated to the whole tribunal that DDM was only pretending not to know how to use Twitter? Are they trying to lose or do they have something incredibly devious up their sleeves?

SelfPortraitWithFoxInSmokingJacket · 25/05/2022 15:13

This must be running down the clock, surely? Otherwise what the hell is it achieving for GCC?

WinterTrees · 25/05/2022 15:13

AH may have realised he's not going to win and decided to use this as a Twitter instruction bootcamp instead. Might as well cut your losses and get something out of it.

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 25/05/2022 15:13

I'm trying to make toast and I'm completely unfamiliar with the technology could someone explain to me where I might place the bread?

Depends, are you wasting the time of a court full of highly paid legal professionals while I explain how to you how toasters can be operationalised and what to do if there's a burny smell coming off one? Will the correct use of toasters be an absolutely central issue in this court case?

If yes, definitely. Sounds like a great laugh.

OnlyLosersTakeTheBus · 25/05/2022 15:13

I'm bored of this, I'm going for a twix 😁

Boiledbeetle · 25/05/2022 15:14

I'll give the contents of my bank account to anyone who can make this questioning STOP!!!!!

BenCoopersSupportWren · 25/05/2022 15:14

Mumsnut · 25/05/2022 11:47

IS IT THE WREN??

<preens>

chilling19 · 25/05/2022 15:14

Against us? And who would 'us' be DDM.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 25/05/2022 15:14

FingonTheValiant · 25/05/2022 15:10

It was an add-on to my post above, but I forgot to quote, so it does look entirely bizarre 😂

Ah, good. I didn't like to think you might be trapped in here with the vipers, DdeM & AH, unable to find your way out. (At this point, we're all looking for a way out aaaargh.....)

awkwardoldlady · 25/05/2022 15:15

Birdsweepsin · 25/05/2022 15:12

You need the magic box with the little holes in the top. You lower the bread, wait a bit and it completely disappears! and then the toast fairies put toast in the bread's place.

And I see dials on the side of the magic box, could you please explain the purpose and meaning of the numbers?

MissPollysFitDolly · 25/05/2022 15:15

katmarie · 25/05/2022 15:05

So despite telling BC that he doesn't know that when you @ someone it sends them a notification, he's just pointed out 'oh, he tagged us so we will have got a notification on that tweet'

I hope the panel notes that.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 25/05/2022 15:15

I wrote a chat box message but then stopped myself sending it as I'm too much of a good girl. I want the tribunal to be told that all of Twitter is public.

ickky · 25/05/2022 15:16

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 25/05/2022 15:12

Why does DDM keep looking off to the side???

It's the support borrower on the back of his head. DDM has no control over his eyes.

OP posts:
StrongOutspokenOftenIrritating · 25/05/2022 15:16

Freudian slip there. Polarised tweets in support of us, erm, no, erm Allison.

SelfPortraitWithFoxInSmokingJacket · 25/05/2022 15:16

awkwardoldlady · 25/05/2022 15:15

This is so spot on. 😂

WallaceinAnderland · 25/05/2022 15:16

I think his aim is to keep going until the end of Thursday in order to avoid MB being questioned. There will no doubt be more 'technical problems' too.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 25/05/2022 15:17

Hahahahahah.

EJG is so on top of Hochhauser's sly tactics.

chilling19 · 25/05/2022 15:17

Come on EJ, bring this to a close.

chilling19 · 25/05/2022 15:18
