When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The court chat function is there for official court purposes, not for observers, please don't use it unless you have a technical issue.

It seems DdM understands Twitter better than he let on

My thought too

And hopefully EJG's thought.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 25/05/2022 15:02

He's got it! By George, I think he's got it!

FingonTheValiant · 25/05/2022 15:02

And have helpfully provided a recipe with pears.

NancyDrawed · 25/05/2022 15:02

Boiledbeetle · 25/05/2022 15:01

DDM just have himself away think AH. It shows he knows exactly what Twitter is about and how it works.

I was just thinking the same - and actually, this might be helpful to those not on twitter.

Bosky · 25/05/2022 15:02

Mwahhhhhh!!!! Another Twitter tutorial eating into Tribunal time??? 😳

Seriously! Is this the right time for this??

Is AH taking the piss???

AH: "Who sees it?"

Anyone on the internet!!!

WallaceinAnderland · 25/05/2022 15:03

Careful AH, you going to make him say something that he has been trying very hard NOT to say.

Mollyollydolly · 25/05/2022 15:03

This is painful. It's Twitter not Einstein's Theory of Relativity.

ickky · 25/05/2022 15:03

There must be a youtube video AH could watch after. I'm sure googling twitter for twats would work. STOP WASTING TIME.

OP posts:
Ameanstreakamilewide · 25/05/2022 15:03

AH - I'm unfamiliar with Twitter.

Me: No shit, Sherlock!

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 25/05/2022 15:03

I mean I don't understand how SnapChat works and I barely use TikTok but this whole case plays out on Twitter so you would think they'd all learn how it works.

theemperorhasnoclothes · 25/05/2022 15:04

Imagine DDM's answer to the question 'are you sitting on a chair'

Well, erm, uh, well I suppose... it depends...what you think.... a chair is. Um... errr. I can't be certain....

Is he capable of answering a question directly? For someone whose job is supposedly comms surely this must be deliberate obfuscation? That or he's unqualified to do his job.

WomensLandArmy · 25/05/2022 15:04

How can screen shots be misleading?

TheBiologyStupid · 25/05/2022 15:04

AH wasting time with Twitter 101! FFS!

FingonTheValiant · 25/05/2022 15:04

Birdsweepsin · 25/05/2022 15:00

Has he mentioned 'crisis situation' before now? Was this really a crisis?

He realised "hammering" wasn't working for them anymore, so upgraded the twitterstorm to a crisis. TBF, in terms of self-inflicted reputation damage, calling it a storm was a Michael Fish-worthy forecasting error.

chilling19 · 25/05/2022 15:04

EJ - bundle issues.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 25/05/2022 15:04

My interpretation of Peter Daly's instructions to BC.

CatsOperatingInGangs · 25/05/2022 14:57

MR gets AH name wrong but gives no fucks 🤣

Oooh was it like "it's Doctor Harrop" when KJ totally floored him with a lovely right hook?

GAHgamel · 25/05/2022 15:04

Bundlephobia · 25/05/2022 14:30

I wonder if at some point way WAAAAY before today, AH took look at all the material and said guys I really think settling is the way forward.

What would have happened if GCC had wanted to settle but Stonewall didn't? Would we just have had the Stonewall evidence, or also some of the GCC to investigate how they'd been influenced by Stonewall? That might have been less of a massive car crash, but still not reputationally great.

katmarie · 25/05/2022 15:05

So despite telling BC that he doesn't know that when you @ someone it sends them a notification, he's just pointed out 'oh, he tagged us so we will have got a notification on that tweet'

ResisterRex · 25/05/2022 15:05

I don't understand. I thought no one really understood Twitter at GCC but now it's a walk-through of how it works? Why's that?

ifIwerenotanandroid · 25/05/2022 15:05

FingonTheValiant · 25/05/2022 15:02

And have helpfully provided a recipe with pears.

Have you fallen through into our parallel universe, or did I miss something earlier?

I'm trying to make toast and I'm completely unfamiliar with the technology could someone explain to me where I might place the bread?
