NICE CATCH!

tabbycatstripy · 25/05/2022 10:55

GCC has only ever tweeted in support of trans rights, in a deeply controversial and contested field. That is corporate positioning. That is what a corporate Twitter account is: the voice of your corporation, the entity that employs you as a marketing person to articulate their values and vision. There is no other purpose for having one.

nauticant · 25/05/2022 10:55

BC now showing DDM tweets that undermine what he's been saying for 20 minutes, ie that GCC tweets are to support GCC people doing work relevant to GCC. Tut tut DDM.

chilling19 · 25/05/2022 10:55

ickky · 25/05/2022 10:55

So GCC media team happily tweeted about Michelle Brewer and self id, but didn't tweet about AB's landmark launch tweet about LGBA.... Hmm....

Exactly

Scorched · 25/05/2022 10:56

I am not a lawyer but I fucking understand the complexities.

on the bingo card - it was a junior
new one now, it was Michelle Brewers fault

Pyjamagame · 25/05/2022 10:56

AH interrupts. Was beginning to miss you AH.

ickky · 25/05/2022 10:56

StrongOutspokenOftenIrritating · 25/05/2022 10:54

Exactly. Woman had been silenced. Much nicer for everyone important.

on the tech front my dad has recently discovered emojis. This is a step forward from all caps texting with no punctuation. But perhaps a step back in terms of knowing what he’s trying to say.

😂I think you may need to start studying hieroglyphs.

"I didn't read it" "I don't recall it"

BINGO

WomensLandArmy · 25/05/2022 10:57

slimey toad

Ereshkigalangcleg · 25/05/2022 10:58

It's really not a stretch.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 25/05/2022 10:58

How many articles promoting the other side of the argument went up?

tabbycatstripy · 25/05/2022 10:58

He tweets things he hasn’t read?

It’s certainly credible that marketing staff promote things without reading them. This is another of the issues in this field: corporations have outsourced their thinking to their support functions.

chilling19 · 25/05/2022 10:58

Is there any evidence that GGC Twitter promoted ANY pro women rights articles? And if there is, was the promotion positive?

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 25/05/2022 10:58

Is Ben a parent? He's just given a very Dad look: I know you're not telling the truth now sonny.

WomensLandArmy · 25/05/2022 10:58

But how many of them supported GC position?

nauticant · 25/05/2022 10:59

This by DDM is not honest. The tweet in discussion right now is a pro self-ID tweet and there's no other non-deceitful interpretation. I wonder if the tribunal will see this.

WallaceinAnderland · 25/05/2022 10:59

DDM can hardly string a sentence together. AH steps in to help but also blusters. Now DDM can't remember.

Scorched · 25/05/2022 10:59

dint. These lawyers have any intellectual curiosity

oviraptor21 · 25/05/2022 10:59

DDM - That's a bit of a stretch

Wonderfully expressive disdainful look from BC!

tabbycatstripy · 25/05/2022 10:59

I hope BC is a parent. He couldn’t help being an excellent dad. ‘Let’s take this in stages.’

Ereshkigalangcleg · 25/05/2022 10:59

Of course not 🙄

Ereshkigalangcleg · 25/05/2022 11:00

"I'm just trying to find the word TERFs"

Zeugma · 25/05/2022 11:02

The strategy here may just be to……slow…….down……between……..words……………..

oviraptor21 · 25/05/2022 11:02

Another one from a few minutes back for the bingo card
"It was a long time ago"

WallaceinAnderland · 25/05/2022 11:02

DDM doesn't understand that retweeting is showing promoting or showing support/approval.
