Tribunal Tweets have 30 million impressions.

Well done Ben for getting that in. Nicely played. Judge wrote it down.

Very clever of BC.

Tribunal Tweets have 15.2k followers. BC just said they have 30 million impressions.

The sun is shining.

Yes! Nicely played Ben

BeBraveLittlePenguin · 25/05/2022 10:46

His eyes are like a lizard, flicking around constantly.

WallaceinAnderland · 25/05/2022 10:47

DDM's shifty eyes are making me dizzy. Why can't he look at the camera.

Pyjamagame · 25/05/2022 10:47

No pressure Judgy!

nauticant · 25/05/2022 10:47

The discussion has moved away from technical matters and DDM is now trying to spin the nature of GCC's tweeting and that it doesn't follow the trans activism thinking.

Just over 300 observers now in this hearing room.

"I think you're overthinking it" from DDM to BC.

As an autistic person, I hate this bloody expression. So patronising and so arrogant to think that one person's amount of thinking is correct and another's is wrong.

chilling19 · 25/05/2022 10:49

Doesn't take a position? If that is the case, why weren't they 'proud' to tweet their link to LGB Alliance via Allison?

Gabcsika · 25/05/2022 10:50

DDM saying that the quotation marks indicate it's a quote from the person tagged and not a view from the chambers.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 25/05/2022 10:50

Then proceeds to waffle on for ages showing he's thinking a fair bit himself.

WomensLandArmy · 25/05/2022 10:50

Ah, blame the junior, nice one.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 25/05/2022 10:45

Jesus - BC: TT has approx 30 MILLION impressions for their tweets of these proceedings.

I bet GCC collectively just died a little inside. So much for limiting reputational damage.

Back to that lovely little comment by BC, mentioned earlier here, to MForstater's employers who said they had been trying to limit reputational damage -
It would be unkind of me to ask you how that went

BemoreBen · 25/05/2022 10:50

ickky · 25/05/2022 10:40

Just thank your lucky stars she doesn't use WhatsApp, my mum recently embraced a new android phone. When I say embraced, I mean annoy me all the time on how it works.

Sadly, her cognitive powers and eyesight have declined to the point that on some days she struggles to call me from her basic landline phone. I got her one with big buttons that I've pre-programmed with our numbers and put our photos on them and she can manage that.

Now my dad, when he was still with us, tried his best with the new world of technology but I do remember the excruciating and hilarious tech support calls.

nauticant · 25/05/2022 10:51

Where BC might not be able to go is to say "so why wasn't there any balance by tweeting gender critical views?" because DDM would probably simply be able to say "there was no request to", which might be true, but the underlying reality is that AB or others would know they'd get no support for such material to be sent out.

Birdsweepsin · 25/05/2022 10:51

Wasn't me, must have been a more junior member of the marketing team.

Oh my lord. Tribunal Tweets are tweeting my words right now but don't necessarily agree with me as their corporate position

TT can't take a corporate position mate...

WallaceinAnderland · 25/05/2022 10:52

DDM 2016 debate was not toxic. What debate? Women were being silenced and media would not touch GC views.

Pyjamagame · 25/05/2022 10:53

Wonder if he struggles with the Twitter character limit???

Now that’s what I call a Twitter Storm.

'Now that’s what I call a Twitter Storm.'

😂

CriticalCondition · 25/05/2022 10:54

And currently we have in the chat room a fine example of a man ( his observer name is a typically male one so I think that a reasonable assumption) essentially telling a woman (Ann Sinnott) to be quiet because she made a point in the chat about the usefulness or otherwise of the 'translation document' on the page number discrepancies.

Exactly. Woman had been silenced. Much nicer for everyone important.

on the tech front my dad has recently discovered emojis. This is a step forward from all caps texting with no punctuation. But perhaps a step back in terms of knowing what he’s trying to say.

ickky · 25/05/2022 10:55

So GCC media team happily tweeted about Michelle Brewer and self id, but didn't tweet about AB's landmark launch tweet about LGBA.... Hmm....
