Sandie Peggie, a nurse at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy (VH), has brought claims in the employment tribunal against her employer; Fife Health Board (the Board) and another employee, Dr B Upton. Ms Peggie’s claims are of sexual harassment, harassment related to a protected belief, indirect discrimination and victimisation. Dr Upton claims to be a transwoman, that is observed as male at birth but asserting a female gender identity.

The Employment Tribunal hearing started on Monday 3 February 2025 and is expected to continue for 2 weeks. The hearing commenced with Sandie Peggie giving evidence. Dr Beth Upton started giving evidence on Thursday 6 February.

Access to view the hearing remotely can be obtained by sending an email request to [email protected] headed Public Access Request (Peggie v Fife Health Board) 4104864/2024 and requesting access.

If he accepted women as adult human female then none of this would be an issue

Taytoface · 10/02/2025 15:54

I would love to be on the Maya F & Helen J WhatsApp back channel right now.

chilling19 · 10/02/2025 15:54

JR jumping in again

Appalonia · 10/02/2025 15:54

This is torture!

Longlivethebling · 10/02/2025 15:54

Omg, my swears are bubbling up

SelfPortraitWithHagstone · 10/02/2025 15:54

Oh wow he is currently telling NC that he doesn't understand her words because they aren't clear and so she must use his terms instead. This is wonderful. His desperate manipulative need to control other people's language is completely clear.

FannyCann · 10/02/2025 15:54

I'd love a chat with some of his work colleagues. What a nightmare he must be to work with.

CriticalCondition · 10/02/2025 15:54

JR jumps in. She can see her client hanging himself.

Boiledbeetle · 10/02/2025 15:53

He's pissed off now isn't he. Wonder if he's hangry?

Maybe he's manstruating?

chilling19 · 10/02/2025 15:54

Careful judge

Why is he a doctor? He should be a politician or a lawyer. Or estate agent.

Quite. This is a one bedroom flat. It may have a single lilo on it and be a shed in a back yard, but it thinks it's a one bedroom garden flat so it is.

fanOfBen · 10/02/2025 15:54

oh dear, judge wants terms defined, this is not going to work well

Iamnotalemming · 10/02/2025 15:55

Is J asking NC to define woman LOL

OvaHere · 10/02/2025 15:55

He's a dangerous man. I fear his wife will realise this too late. I hope she reconsiders having children with this man.

I think it probably just says WHAT A WANKEEEEEEER over and over - what else can anyone say?!

Harassedevictee · 10/02/2025 15:55

DU is compelling speech I.e. use the term “cis”.

Well done NC.

EasternStandard · 10/02/2025 15:56

Do not use his language whatever you do

MarieDeGournay · 10/02/2025 15:56

I can imagine that NC's pauses are unsettling for DrU - my experience with narcissists is that they come at you with a slightly different version of whatever untruth they are peddling if you manage to refute the first versions.
Browbeating, bullying you into submission.
Having an imposed silence must be difficult for this modus operandi.

ILikeDungs · 10/02/2025 15:56

What is a woman!

CerealPosterHere · 10/02/2025 15:56

Did that judge just call him “victim”.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 10/02/2025 15:56

Spot on IME too

HoldTheLine · 10/02/2025 15:56

How Can his wife and parents watch and listen to this entitled [redacted] and not feel they had made some serious mistakes in their life choices supporting this?
