NHS Fife tries to silence nurse - Sandie Peggie vs NHS Fife Health Board and Dr Beth Upton - thread #9

Sandie Peggie, a nurse at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy (VH), has brought claims in the employment tribunal against her employer; Fife Health Board (the Board) and another employee, Dr B Upton. Ms Peggie’s claims are of sexual harassment, harassment related to a protected belief, indirect discrimination and victimisation. Dr Upton claims to be a transwoman, that is observed as male at birth but asserting a female gender identity.

The Employment Tribunal hearing started on Monday 3 February 2025 and is expected to continue for 2 weeks. The hearing commenced with Sandie Peggie giving evidence. Dr Beth Upton started giving evidence on Thursday 6 February.

Completely agree, it's unadulterated Gender Bingo in a court of law, straight from someone who absolutely identifies as trans and has the full backing of the online trans community. There will be no "Now now, no one is saying that sex doesn't exist," or "No one is saying any man who declares he feels like a woman should be able to walk in on women changing" - it's ALL there.

I feel very similar to how I did during the Stonewall section of Alison Bailey's tribunal, when I could see that no matter how the tribunal itself went just having all this laid out so unequivocally was intensely cathartic. This IS who genderists are. This IS what they want. No they will NOT be reasonable. Yes they ARE perfectly willing to threaten and harass to get what they want, and our institutions have been so cowed by Stonewall they just caved in and let them.

TRA 'logic' is that the starting point is TWAW. Absolutely everything else has to be made to fit around that. Women are female so TIMs are female too. Women have female bodies so TIMs have female bodies too.

It's the way they are able to make it sound reasonable and you unhinged for challenging it.
