The Tribunal started on 25th April, witness testimony concluded on the 26th May. Closing arguments for council will be on the 20th June. I don't know if the existing links and pins will work. I will email nearer the time to check.

If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access.
Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 20th June 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The court chat function is there for official court purposes, not for observers, please don't use it unless you have a technical issue.

On the first page underneath where you put your screen name, select the video and mic that are not crossed out (top option), this is the courts vid and mic.
On the next page select NONE on the drop down windows for vid and mic, these are your own video and mic.

You must be muted so as to not disturb the hearing.

There is also live tweeting from

Impossible to follow as page numbers are not being provided.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 20/06/2022 12:44

FFS. So you can't conduct litigation in case someone has something else going on in their lives that might be affected by it? If there's one long running thread through this it's that GCC members constantly had many and varied 'more important' things going on!

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/06/2022 12:44

Ok so I can't remember the details but at the end of AB's cross examination she said that she wasn't pursuing the case against one of the barristers.

And it sounds like she's dropped it against others too this morning.

CriticalCondition · 20/06/2022 12:44

And finally AH realises he can be heard more easily if he moves his microphone closer.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/06/2022 12:45

I can understand this. It's stressful to be accused of something and then to have that dropped having been through all this must have been very annoying.

Presumably there are reasons for this but not having been party to the submissions in advance it's hard to know what has gone on.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 20/06/2022 12:46

Did he just refer to the 'lad culture' or did I mishear??

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/06/2022 12:46

Sounds like 13 names have been dropped from the case - against some of the detriments anyway.

Which Minister is responsible for the judiciary? I feel that person needs to be aware of how the "Equal" Treatment Benchbook is being used (almost as a statutory document) and that it therefore needs parliamentary scrutiny.

It's Dominic Raab, I think. He's Lord Chancellor.

chilling19 · 20/06/2022 12:47

AH's argument is over emotional and incoherent in my view.

MythicalReasonableTwitterUser · 20/06/2022 12:47

"everything has changed"
hyperbole much?

oviraptor21 · 20/06/2022 12:48

Hopefully BC will be able to placate AH who seems very put out.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 20/06/2022 12:48

We're going to have to wait for BC to explain what's going on, aren't we?

MythicalReasonableTwitterUser · 20/06/2022 12:48

"full of smoke and mirrors" huh? Have a look in that mirror

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/06/2022 12:49

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/06/2022 12:46

Sounds like 13 names have been dropped from the case - against some of the detriments anyway.

I hope that this has been done on sound legal grounds and not on emotion. I think he does have a good sounding point here.

oviraptor21 · 20/06/2022 12:49

Can anyone remember the multiplier for the bundle page numbers?

CriticalCondition · 20/06/2022 12:51

EJG is just letting AH run on and get it off his chest. If she could shut her eyes or stare at the ceiling she would.

Imnotavetbut · 20/06/2022 12:51

GCRich

Those odds aren't great are they?!

I'm salty today as I had a particularly obnoxious QC on the phone on Friday afternoon. I was trying to resolve a problem for him and as justification for his appalling behaviour towards me he said he was sorry but sometimes he had to be assertive in order to get things resolved. I told him there was a difference between assertive and rude. As an aside, it was a computer issue he was perplexed about 😬 He couldn't understand that I couldn't amend something on a database, even when I explained that I would ask someone in IT to amend it as I didn't have the permissions to amend the database. It was about as painful as Hocky and his understanding of Twitter...

Can anyone remember the multiplier for the bundle page numbers?

roughly add 100 to the page numbers

Agree. He's really OTT today.

Can anyone remember the multiplier for the bundle page numbers?

I thought the Bundle had been reorganised? Does the old system still work?

Thank you! :-)

oviraptor21 · 20/06/2022 12:57

Running out of steam now and sounding rather whiny.

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 20/06/2022 12:58

Oh dear, AB upset a 'vulnerable' employee (we were never told what his vulnerability was), who might resign
