If all these people were friends with Allison, why didn't they take the time to understand where she was coming from?

tabbycatstripy · 24/05/2022 12:51

The angrier he gets, the better it looks.

Clymene · 24/05/2022 12:51

What an angry little man

dworky · 24/05/2022 12:52

Oh my, he's literally swaggering in his seat!

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 24/05/2022 12:52

Nice bit of explaining from BC then. It's a nice touch having the camera pointed so he's looking down. It comes in handy when he's patiently explaining to the witnesses how being a witness means that he asks the question and they answer them.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 24/05/2022 12:52

BC - Referring to 'the hug'

TW - Are you suggesting i made that up?

TopKnotch · 24/05/2022 12:52

Can you imagine being on your own with this witness, he gets so angry at very little provocation.

BC is so calm.

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 24/05/2022 12:52

The contrast between this odious little man's demeanour as a witness and Allison's is otherworldly.

SidewaysOtter · 24/05/2022 12:52

<pause>

“I asked you a question

The look of disdain was a thing to behold.

Will TW’s attitude go against him with the judge?

tabbycatstripy · 24/05/2022 12:52

‘Are you suggesting I’ve made that up?’

BC flat stare.

Wainwright starts describing the hug.

chilling19 · 24/05/2022 12:52

BC - doing what he does best. 😂

BeBraveLittlePenguin · 24/05/2022 12:53

ELG does not like him Grin

VestofAbsurdity · 24/05/2022 12:53

He is really coming across as a my way or the highway type, clearly can't abide any questioning or criticism of his views or actions at all.

BenCooperisaGod · 24/05/2022 12:53

What a toe rag. One thing though, i do hate passive aggressive reply all e mail tactics. I pull it up, every single time, no matter who it comes from. Take them through the impact, question their intention. It is a shitty way to handle challenge.

malloo · 24/05/2022 12:53

If this is what he is like in a public tribunal, what on earth is he like when he thinks no one else can hear??

Pyjamagame · 24/05/2022 12:53

"we'd moved on" - but yet, here we are Tom, at an employment tribunal...

Ameanstreakamilewide · 24/05/2022 12:53

BC - Finished with TW now.

Nothing from IO and RW. 🙄

Clymene · 24/05/2022 12:53

Ooh no thank you back from Mr Wainwright to Mr Cooper

Wouldn't like to be Mrs Wainwright

ifIwerenotanandroid · 24/05/2022 12:54

If a friend said something to me which seemed way off, I'd seek to understand her point of view, or ascertain if she'd misunderstood something.

I did it the other day with someone on twitter, who HAD misunderstood the flow of a converation. Everything was easily put right without rancour.

ickky · 24/05/2022 12:54

BC finished with TWat, JR to cross.

theemperorhasnoclothes · 24/05/2022 12:54

I'm slightly behind with this (but listening in) - he was angry that she was accusing him of 'white male privilege'.

He positively EXUDES white male privilege. EVERYONE sees it.

Also, hostility.

alwaysandtogether · 24/05/2022 12:54

malloo · 24/05/2022 12:53

If this is what he is like in a public tribunal, what on earth is he like when he thinks no one else can hear??

Quite.

CriticalCondition · 24/05/2022 12:54

Interesting timely cut to the judge while watching that last rant.

funnelfanjo · 24/05/2022 12:54

If you get an email from a "friend" that upsets you, isn't the normal reaction to address it off line rather than "slap her down" in a reply all email conversation?

Sorry, my train of thought now interrupted by the mantrum being thrown by TW, quite extraordinary language and conduct.

katmarie · 24/05/2022 12:54

This guy is the definition of the word odious.
