I liked the one where a mumsnetter started a thread about the dreadful holiday she was having, and another one (Patsy?) piped up that she was staying in the same hotel, and had actually seen the first one's DH. They ended up hanging out together and having a splendid time. 😄

I also liked the thread about outfits that promised much on the hanger but failed to deliver when on. Somebody said one outfit she had made her look like Suzy Quatro's fat nan.

MN used to be funnier. ☹️

Yes to both of these. The holiday one was brilliant as it unfolded in real time.

The outfits which was called something like 'expectation vs reality' was hilarious an I distinctly remember the Suzi Quattro Fat Nan description - it was priceless.

Ooh- is there a link to the holiday thread? I think I recall it but can't locate it.

There was also one years ago where a MNetter asked if anyone was going to be round such and such a town the following morning because she needed two witnesses for her wedding. That all happened and there was a lovely photo of the wedding party. It was really sweet.

Shocked Balonz isn't on the list. My all time favourite thread ever, I cry with laughter everytime!

I'm surprised the CF thread about the Mexican House Thief has not been mentioned in the OP!
