The company is always sparkling, the drinks are always sublime, and the cakes are mysteriously free from gluten, sugar, calories, and troublesome booze… not that you’d ever notice. 😏

Our enthusiastic team of gerbil waitstaff is ably supported by capybaras, quokkas, and other charming creatures who excel at their jobs while looking outrageously adorable.

You will find many things to laugh at - usually out loud - so take care not to spit out your tea. We are considering a petition for the return of the laugh emoji - just as soon as the AI gerbils learn how to spell.

New Bluestockingers are always welcome. Men can pop along to The Staunch Ally nearby.

Thank you for the new thread, Myrtle, and welcome all to the Bluestocking.

I've been making a permanent home for the Bluestocking which has to move every 40 pages, involving the rounding up of dozens of gerbils, quokkas, the resident dachshund, secret stashes of Tunnocks, miniature pigs from the garden.. nightmare!

There's more work to be done on the outside, but here's the interior of the permanent Bluestocking

The miniature gerbils were found on Amazon, Android, and fortunately turned out to be the right scale. The miniature capybara alas is a bit big, so she is going to be outside on security duty
I discovered online that capybaras are A Thing, like llamas - notebooks, keyrings, cuddly toys... Who knew?

Has anyone seen Germaine? She got very excited when her namesake had a guest turn on Dead Ringers a little while ago.

Makes sense if the capybara is from the Amazon, not so sure about gerbils.

Is it just the Tunnocks teacakes that are hidden away? I'm quite fancying a caramel wafer right about now. Unfortunately the only chocolate we currently have in the house I can't eat 🙁

Please may I join? I've lurked for ages afraid of getting gerbil lore wrong but want to take the plunge as I knit.

oh! Schleich do capybaras. I really don't have space for any more animals in my Christmas tableau. And Isaiah never mentioned capybaras. But Schleich . . .
