Thanks for yet another new thread and to all the brilliant commentators

Is AH right and BC is being naughty asking complicated questions? I'll be honest they don't seem complicated to me but AH seems very annoyed

Well I'm no brainiac, but could follow with no problems. I'm sure a barrister would be able to follow.

Goodness me EJ will be pleased as we've finished these witnesses today

The witnesses seem to cope perfectly well when AH throws them a question of comparable complexity.

Chrysanthemum5 · 23/05/2022 16:48

Oh DdM tomorrow and maybe a bit of MB! We are being spoiled

ickky · 23/05/2022 16:48

AH finished with LD. Discussing who is next with EJ.

OP posts:
Chrysanthemum5 · 23/05/2022 16:48

That's what I think about the questions - it just seems AH is trying to paint BC as being unreasonable

Rightsraptor · 23/05/2022 16:49

Michelle Brewer is scheduled for Wednesday!

DdM not on the schedule but looks like they are trying to squeeze him in.

exwhyzed · 23/05/2022 16:49

EJ confirming that Michelle Brewer is due to appear on Wednesday.

DR also back on Wednesday which we knew

ickky · 23/05/2022 16:50

Michelle Brewer after David Renton on Wednesday.

OP posts:
Rightsraptor · 23/05/2022 16:50

Wednesday is going to be a good day - Renton back and also Brewer starting her evidence.

exwhyzed · 23/05/2022 16:50

Stephanie Harrison on Thursday

Chrysanthemum5 · 23/05/2022 16:50

So is DdM an unexpected witness? Does he have a WS?

Scorchedterf · 23/05/2022 16:50

ive just connected for the last part of this afternoon, and I think I got that one of them said about an hour ago , paraphrasing - “concentrating on Trans Rights work and the connected working party was in response to them losing legal aid work,”

The government has dramatically cut access to legal aid. So it’s all about the income stream.
Bens questioning of Liz Davies I think is to highlight that pro Palestinian tweets, by a Garden Court member, whilst politically charged, was not met with the same approbation as Allison’s tweets about the Lesbian Gay Alliance.

SelfPortraitWithFoxInSmokingJacket · 23/05/2022 16:51

I am so far behind that I am still smiling at I’m so distracted by this my toddler just handed me a poo.

Thanks for the new thread, ickky!

Scorchedterf · 23/05/2022 16:51

As ever , follow the money.

EmpressaurusWitchDoesntBurn · 23/05/2022 16:51

If all these barristers are as brilliant as the GCC website seems to claim, surely they should be able to handle ‘complicated’ questions?

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 23/05/2022 16:51

Michelle Brewer Wednesday likely PM. I have a meeting at 4 so I hope others don't run on.

nauticant · 23/05/2022 16:52

Timetable for the rest of the week:

Tues
Katherine McGahy
Tom Wainwright
Colin Cook
Maybe David de Menezes to start his evidence

Wed
David Renton
David de Menezes to conclude
Michelle Brewer (3 hours)

Thurs
Stephanie Harrison
Katherine Cronin

All subject to my mis-spelling.

Chrysanthemum5 · 23/05/2022 16:52

Is it a barrister thing that questions should only have one part? AH seemed to have lots of multi part questions for Allison

WinterTrees · 23/05/2022 16:52

Appalonia · 23/05/2022 16:40

It's so ironic that these important, busy human rights lawyers are so busy representing the most oppressed, they've completely missed one of the biggest women's and gay pp' s rights scandals in decades

This is such a good point

Chrysanthemum5 · 23/05/2022 16:52

Well what's all this about?!

katmarie · 23/05/2022 16:52

Does anyone know what the issue is on this letter?
