I hope Allison isn't following today's parade of prejudice and ignorance. If reading this thread is making my adrenaline pump, I just cannot imagine how it must be for her to listen to it. I hope she's walking through a green beechwood somewhere, en route to a lovely cafe with excellent cake.

Clymene · 24/05/2022 11:03

And now we're back to the I can't remember

Hazycoffeek · 24/05/2022 11:01

isn this statement, posted above, a hate crime based on homophobia?

‘If the workshop said we might seek to persuade a lesbian that she might want to, that she could want to, have sex with a transwoman... then that would not be coercion.’

On a boring note, I was able to join the tribunal last week on my iPhone but now only get a black screen. Have tried chrome, cleared cookies etc but no luck.anyone still able to watch on an iPhone?

I found when I was connected by data it worked, but when I was on the Wi-Fi I had a black screen

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 24/05/2022 11:05

I had some strange hope that CM might be remotely reasonable - but I think she is the worst of all so far 😣

tabbycatstripy · 24/05/2022 11:07

‘I’m really concerned about being drawn into a wider debate here.’

Bit late for that, really.

katmarie · 24/05/2022 11:07

Just as an aside, how can it be so difficult for the witness statements to be available?

Get your high priests in positions of power and it all falls into place.

Until it doesn't like today

Yes, I thought this was going to a quick, non rage inducing witness.

OK I know it's probably not fair to judge someone based on their repertoire of facial expressions (why did the word "countenance" fall out of fashion?) but I really don't like how she keeps smirking at questions about threats and coercion!

Yep, she's just said that attraction based on sex isn't a legitimate thing.

I think she's demonstrated her homophobia (against lesbians at least) quite clearly.

Clymene · 24/05/2022 11:09

She is like witchfinder general

NecessaryScene · 24/05/2022 11:09

I’m really concerned about being drawn into a wider debate here.

Then maybe you shouldn't have been trying to shut down people on one specific side of that public debate, thus choosing a side?

tabbycatstripy · 24/05/2022 11:09

The witness statement must be very revealing, otherwise I’m not sure how BC would have known to position CM at this late stage in the proceedings.

ickky · 24/05/2022 11:10

CM looking very uncomfortable when BC was reading that segment.

OP posts:
PurpleDrain · 24/05/2022 11:10

@Hazycoffeek I always use my iPhone, sometimes it’s just a case of trying up to 3 or 4 times. Make sure you allow camera then quickly switch off when in. Also I try the guest link or the other one ( can’t remember what it’s called) if one doesn’t work.

tabbycatstripy · 24/05/2022 11:10

‘I think she's demonstrated her homophobia (against lesbians at least) quite clearly.’

Yes.

ickky · 24/05/2022 11:10

CM looking very flushed in the face and neck now.

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 24/05/2022 11:11

They can only use sharing links that disable download (not that that is genuinely possible.)

NecessaryScene · 24/05/2022 11:11

I’m not sure how BC would have known to position CM at this late stage in the proceedings.

You certainly do have to work your way up the crazy, don't you? To actually be in a mind-space where you can believe someone is actually saying this stuff, and really meaning it, you have to be kind of warmed up with a bunch of less crazy stuff first.

tabbycatstripy · 24/05/2022 11:11

But now she agrees that there’s evidence of appalling levels of coercion driving the trans self-ID agenda. And also that Stonewall dismissed any concerns about that.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 24/05/2022 11:11

If IO has no questions after this I would be amazed. She has to earn her fee today.

Gabcsika · 24/05/2022 11:12

ickky · 24/05/2022 11:10

CM looking very flushed in the face and neck now.

You are right. Decidedly red from the neck up.

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 24/05/2022 11:12

The witness statement must be very revealing, otherwise I’m not sure how BC would have known to position CM at this late stage in the proceedings.

So BC got to choose the order of witnesses? I was wondering about that, the escalation of witness insanity didn't seem like it could be a coincidence.

Yes anyone could screenshot, it's ridiculous.

She looked very uncomfortable while BC was reading out that piece from Simon Fanshawe. And she didn't know SF was a founder of SW.
