I just started mounjaro today.

I'm really interested to hear how much weight you have lost on Mounjaro.

On it since march 2024 and I've lost just over 8 stone.

IsThisLifeNow · 27/06/2025 19:02

54kg, ao like 8.8 stone? April 2024, best thing I've ever done. I'm still not ar target, but steadily decreasing

FlowersFawb · 27/06/2025 19:12

4 stone and 10lbs since 20th Jan 25.

Start weight 17 stone
Current weight 12 stone 4lb
Female
Age 35
5ft 6
Uk size 18 to a UK size 12
Goal weight 10 stone 7lbs

InfoSecInTheCity · 27/06/2025 19:17

Starting weight - 217.5 lbs - 15 st and 7.5 lbs - BMI 33.1
Current weight - 146.3 lbs - 10 st and 6.3 lbs - BMI 22.2
Total loss - 71.2 lbs

I am 4lbs off hitting my goal, but will be taking Mounjaro long term as it’s prescribed for Diabetes. Still have a bit of excess flab on belly and upper arms, some of this is loose skin but not all of it, so will maybe go a few lbs below my goal if needed.

Ive been obese since primary school, so have no frame of reference for myself and what my body could/should look like as an adult, I currently weigh less than I did when I was 11 years old, so it’s all a bit bizarre.

WeAllHaveWings · 27/06/2025 19:26

End of week - 52 (5 x 2.5mg, 47 x 3.75mg)
SW - 21st 5lbs BMI 44.8
CW - 13st 09lbs BMI 28.6
Losses (2024) - 10,2,2,4,1,3,3,3,1,3,2,2,3,3,2,3,3,2,1,4,0,2,3,3,1,4,0
Losses (2025) - 0,3,2,1,3,1,1,0,2,3,3,-1,3,2,2,1,2,2,1,1,0,3,0,1,2
Total loss - 7st 10lbs (108lbs), 36.1%

Haven't quite worked out what my final target will be, I am mid 50s and will have a bit of loose skin, BMI 25 will be 11st 13lbs so another 1-2st to go, will decide final goal weight once I get there!

Wowzel · 27/06/2025 19:37

14kg so far

Paperwhite13 · 27/06/2025 19:39

I’ve been on Mounjaro for exactly a year today and I’ve lost 101lbs or 7st 3lbs.

SusanSometimes · 27/06/2025 19:40

Slow and steady for me, about 8kg in 12 weeks. I'm very happy with that, it's been so easy.

cherrycherrypickin · 27/06/2025 19:41

23lbs in 3 months (12% of my body weight).

LaurieFairyCake · 27/06/2025 19:42

Goal weight (4 stone loss)

hooverbob · 27/06/2025 19:43

Wow some amazing losses? What is the loose skin like can I ask?

CloverPyramid · 27/06/2025 19:43

I’ve lost just under 8 stone since May 2024. 35% of my starting body weight. My loss is slowing down now and I’m finding the effects less strong now but I’m still losing and so much happier in myself.

PinkSwatch · 27/06/2025 19:47

Been on it for 5 months and I've lost 26lbs so far. Still quite a way to go.

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 27/06/2025 19:47

Started in June ‘24 and at target at 8 stone 3 lbs down.

Loose skin is definitely a thing, but nowhere near as bad as all the fat so I’ll deal with it. The internet tells me that it may slowly improve a little over the next year or so, and I’m doing weights to try to build muscle so we’ll see.

@InfoSecInTheCity It's defo preferable, well done on the hard work.

SparklyGlitterballs · 27/06/2025 19:52

I've been on it for 2 months and have lost 1.5 stones so far. I'm 61 and have found it impossible for years to shift any weight, but this has really helped. I'm quite pleased with the slow loss - a pound or two a week (though more this week as I've had Norovirus 🙁).

Good luck with your weight loss journey OP.

hooverbob · 27/06/2025 19:53

just saw the pics and really not much is noticeable. Your legs look amazing!

Belindabelle · 27/06/2025 19:54

43lbs lost in 41 weeks. Lost 10lbs by low carbing the week before I started so almost 4 stone down since September.

It’s been effortless if a little slow at times. No nasty side effects. I have eaten and drank well. Been on holidays, joined in celebrations and still managed to lose weight. Miraculous stuff.

WeAllHaveWings · 27/06/2025 19:54

@hooverbob 56 years old, post menopausal and over 100lbs lost, realistically it was never going to be pretty! 🤣

Instead I got healthier, off blood pressure meds, off acid reflux meds, able to move more and looking much better (in clothes) instead! Loose skin, while I could do without it, comes much further down the list of priorities. It might improve but otherwise I will learn to live with it as the rest wouldn't be possible without it.

scotstarstrikestwo · 27/06/2025 19:55

5 stone since 19th Jan 25. Probs about another 7 to go

InfoSecInTheCity · 27/06/2025 19:55

Thanks @hooverbob I am very pleased with my legs 😀 Have been wearing short shorts a lot this year so now have half a tan, turns out you need to stay still and lay on your front to tan the backs of your legs and I don’t stay still long enough for that to happen so the front of my legs is brown and the back is white!

TidyDancer · 27/06/2025 19:57

I’ve been on it for nearly 10 months and lost 5 stone so far. Still got some way to go until I’m within a healthy weight category but I’m doing it in a steady and sustainable way. Mostly nutritious food with the odd treat at weekends. No alcohol but still have desserts occasionally etc. Some loose skin but I don’t really care in comparison to what I looked like when I was at my peak weight. This has genuinely changed (and probably saved) my life.

hooverbob · 27/06/2025 19:58

So hard to tan the backs of legs! 😆😆

@WeAllHaveWings amazing to get off meds, well done!

Belindabelle · 27/06/2025 20:01

I am also 56 and this is the first time that I have ever managed to lose a significant noticeable amount of weight. My skin isn’t too bad. Well not as bad as I was expecting. I think the slow weight loss has helped with that.
