How much weight have you lost on mounjaro?

I just started mounjaro today.

I'm really interested to hear how much weight you have lost on Mounjaro.

Interestingly, noone has noticed I've lost 3 stone. I have not received one single comment.

Hardly anyone has noticed my 53 pound weightloss either. Obviously my husband and kids, but they’ve known I’m on MJ.

People I’ve told have said ‘but you never looked fat’ (I did). I’m fairly tall at - smidge over 5’8, so I think it was maybe well distributed.

3 stone so far, 3.5 to go!

People are afraid to mention weight. I’ve had people ask whether I’ve changed my glasses or hair. I’m at the point where my weight loss is blindingly glaringly obvious, I’ve gone from a size 22/24 to a 12, and my face looks completely different and people will still ask if I’ve got new glasses 😂

5 stone since November. One more to go. I keep trying on clothes and being astounded that I look good.

Re people not noticing, I think what makes people notice is a change in clothes. I know a woman who’s lost 4st on ozempic but she wears the clothes she always did - loose fitting trousers and baggy top, always black. I’ve lost 13lbs in a month and it’s the difference between wearing loose shirts that cover my belly to now wearing tops tucked in with a belt to pull my jeans in at the waistband. People have noticed because it’s very different to how I usually look

Meant to say, I’d never have notice the weight loss of the woman on ozempic had she not told me

About 120lb in 12 months, 14lb more to go.

I do think it's funny not mentioning weigh loss when its a huge amount. I've lost 55kg, from a size 26 to an 18 and no-one on my sports teams has mentioned it at all. I think they are being polite but in a way I'm a tiny bit disappointed, but I get it

I'm going to switch to Mournjaro I think. I've completely plateaued on Wegovy and have barely lost anything in three months. I've been on it for 18 months and I've only lost 3 stone. It's 22% of my body weight but I still have a stone to go before I am comfortably into the healthy range on the BMI chart. I need a kick start on something else.

I'm nearly at 1 year - less 11 days.

I've hit 100lb loss today. From BMI 38 to 21.3.

Just over 60lb / 27kg
Biggest benefit has been a reduction in blood sugars (which were steadily increasing year on year) and less weight on my joints.

Biggest downside is the constant commentary on my body/weight loss, I hate it but most people mean well.

I started at 13st 4lb with a target weight of 9st 10lb. In 9 weeks, I have lost 25lb which is exactly half way to my target.

I started at 13 stone 6, I now weigh 9 stone 8, as of this morning.

I actually thought I’d be happy at 10 stone as I’m 5’ 8.5. But 10 stone didn’t look as slim as I hoped, so I’m keeping going.

Been on it since June ‘24, lost 7 stone 7. Best thing I’ve ever done.

It's coming off slowly for me. Approaching the end of my tenth week and just 4kg down so far. Still more than I would have managed without it. I was stuck at the same weight for years before MJ.

Very slow for me. Five stone total loss, nearly four of that on MJ since August. Currently half a stone to goal but at a healthy BMI now

Since May 24, 5st 2lbs.

I’m 5’4” and size 14, was 22.

I have about a stone more to go, I think.

This week my dose was 12.5. I did two 15s but didn’t like them so I’ve decided to try gradually going down in doses.

Six stone in a year, now maintaining

I started in April 25 and only lost 18lbs so far. Everyone else serms to have lost stones in three months.Quite disappointed really.

i didn't want to move up the doses but am about to try 7.5 mg. My next pen is 10mg and if I don't get to a 22lb loss on 10mg I'm going to stop as it's expensive for loosing at the same rate I did on slimming World.

14 weeks in and 23 pound down, just 1-2 pounds a week and some weeks I stay the same but it's all adding up. Never had this much success on other diets before!

26kgs since September.

I lost a lot initially, stalled for about 3/4 months. In the last month I’ve dropped 8kgs.

3 stone. Started in Jan at a little over 13 stone

28kg so over 4 stone in just under 11 months. I am planning to drop a bit more before maintenance and then will taper off.

I've had a pretty difficult stressful year so being able to continue to lose like this had been amazing

Lost 21kg in 18 weeks.
BMI from 33.4 - 26.5.
10kg more to lose.
173 cm tall.

It's massively eased my knee pain. And I haven't had a migraine attack since I started taking it.
