But at the same time I was going to name change but I don't want to because I want to be able to find this again if I need to in the future and because (on the back of the PND thread even though this isn't PND) I have nothing to be ashamed of.

If any of you recognise me in my previous names please don't out me on this thread.

I am going to ring the doctor and get an emergency appointment and see if they can give me antidepressants or something to help I am crying I can't stop I'm stressed I'm not sleeping and my DP told me last night I am over thinking everything and tying myself in knots and could I please go and do something

So I came home in a strop with him and in tears but he's right.

My ex is a head wreck and very difficult to deal with.

I'm a single parent.

I work part time and go to uni full time.

I am having gynae issues and bleeding out every month for 2 or 3 days to the point where I last an hour before I'm soaked through.

I'm so tired just so so tired and I can't sleep

I have a bad shoulder and it hurts all the time it's the hand/arm I use the most and I have to do tons of typing and sitting at the computer for uni and driving and it hurts and I am swallowing ibuprofen every day and they aren't helping

So I am going to ring the doctor this morning and get an emergency appointment and tell them how bad I feel.

I'm scared. Stupid stupid stupid scared.

He has to phone me in case I fall asleep so he can hang up and cut off the phone.

Me? Over think and over analyse every single thing? No. Not me Wink

Is that akin to my "it would be a personal insult if I told you to fuck off so I won't"

Wink Grin

I know it's daft and I know I'm being dippy.

Hello, just wanted to reassure you about the yawning/teeth grinding and buzzy face feeling; I had all these side-effects for the first ten days or so of taking Sertraline.

They've completely gone now and I don't notice any weird effects - have been taking them for 8 weeks now. They are working brilliantly - I hope you have as much success as I have :)

You have too much on your plate - single parent, job, uni, bad periods. No wonder you are depressed. Please try to re-think your life. You sound like you are running yourself into the ground. Could you give up your job? Could you take longer to do your uni course? The doctor needs to treat your period problem and your depression. Have you thought about going on the pill? No one will laugh at you as you sound like you really need help. Anti-depressants take a little while to work but perhaps once they kick in you could think about what is causing your problems. Good luck.

NicholasTeakozy · 01/04/2012 01:10

Fucking hell Hathor, you're doing a grand job. Keep taking the meds, allow them to kick in. So glad you've taken half a Diazepam, hopefully your shoulder will be less painful. I've just remembered, I had to take it for a stress related problem. I had a stressful job, doing the work of three people, and I developed an inflamed nerve in my shoulder. Two days of taking Diazepam cleared it up, and did so whenever it recurred. Nowadays the only stress I have is what my own anxieties push on me. Sleep well.

Don't apologise!!! Grin

How do you feel this morning? Did you sleep well?

hathorinareddress · 01/04/2012 08:11

Slept all night but my shoulder/arm/neck definitely doesn't feel as sore this morning.

But I really really didn't like how it made me feel out of it.

Stinking headache (again) but as DD just pointed out I always have a rotten headache in the morning once my hayfever kicks in - I take hayfever tabs going to bed, and another dose in the morning so it may be just that - tempting though it is to blame every single thing on the AD's

Well done for taking the tablet. You are a noodle though. You DO do tablets - you take paracetamol and ibuprofen. The diazepam is just another way to make you feel better.

Did you sleep?

CiderwithBuda · 01/04/2012 08:15

Cross posted. See? I was right you do take tabs! You just have a bee in your bonnet about these ones.

They obv worked on your shoulder. That has got to be worth it. See how you go today and maybe don't take one tonight if you don't feel up to it but think about taking one tomorrow night. And then compare your pain level and decide how much of a difference it makes.

hathorinareddress · 01/04/2012 08:18

I am a noodle. Officially.

And DP has the patience of a saint.

ChippingInNeedsCoffee · 01/04/2012 08:31

Yes - you are a noodle - thank god you are a lovely one or we'd have to boil you and eat you :)

Keep taking the AD's and take the half diaz. at night... do as you are told or Mary will be around to kick you up the arse sort you out!!

hathorinareddress · 01/04/2012 08:33

Grin yes bossy

This morning I feel tired. Just tired. Not the exhausted feeling that's usual for me but just tired.

Which sounds bizarre I know but I can't explain it any other way.

OP posts:
LittleWhiteMice · 01/04/2012 08:54

like fed up? or sleepy tired? how did you sleep last night

hathorinareddress · 01/04/2012 08:54

Slept ok. Not fed up and not exhausted. Just tired. it's the oddest feeling.

OP posts:
ChippingInNeedsCoffee · 01/04/2012 09:01

I suspect it's because when you take things like Diaz you have a different kind of sleep and because you 'feel' like you slept well, you 'feel' like you shouldn't be so tired/exhausted, but you still are.
