Sandie Peggie, a nurse at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy (VH), has brought claims in the employment tribunal against her employer; Fife Health Board (the Board) and another employee, Dr B Upton. Ms Peggie’s claims are of sexual harassment, harassment related to a protected belief, indirect discrimination and victimisation. Dr Upton claims to be a transwoman, that is observed as male at birth but asserting a female gender identity.

The Employment Tribunal hearing started on Monday 3 January 2025 and is expected to continue for 2 weeks. The hearing commenced with Sandie Peggie giving evidence. Dr Beth Upton started giving evidence on 6 February.

Which tribunal was it with the cat, Ben Cooper,

sorry, I swooned for a moment there

Mr Hochhouse...r & - was it the same JR? I remember the chat function being filled with people saying thanks at the end of that one.

Yes and the judge was told about the chat and how everyone was thanking her which seemed to please her

Why is everyone eating chocolate eggs already? It's FEBRUARY!!!

You've got to build up to the chocolate onslaught of Easter. You can't just dive in, this takes training.

Boiledbeetle · 10/02/2025 10:44

Interesting

🤐

Mine are full of caramel, need I say more!!?

Oh, I hear you!

But I'm all about delayed gratification.

There are maltesers etc in the meantime 😉

I’ve tried Safari and Chrome but get black screen with both. Maybe it’s an iPad issue.

Re: the various debates about transmen in this situation...

Because of the safety factor, women are more disadvantaged than men by mixed-sex provision, so they can make a sex discrimination claim (a potential element of the David Lloyd and Darlington cases).

Men don't like mixed-sex provision either, but have no recourse under discrimination law. Because it's not illegal to discriminate against 'cis' people.

I watched that Emilia Perez film on Netflix yesterday, to see what it was like, it was a very strange film! No idea why it's got so many Oscar nominations.

brave and stunning wasnt it? Especially all the racist and sexist tweets from it's star. The hollywood left don't know what to do. Transbutracistbutvulnerablebutbigot etc.

They must have realised that the hat/scarf 'disguise' wasn't coming across well.

You'll have definitely drunk it.

Are you watching only today? Or are you on Tweeting duty?

Watching and emergency back up. I read the tweets for howlers. There is so much scrutiny on this one. We're always careful but this is next level.

Also - watching Naomi is the best day time TV ever. The woman is an assassin as an advocate.

The real question is WHY AREN'T YOU eating them yet!!!!

I don't eat them all the way up to easter. Just have a few when they start selling them. Im weak to the reeces peanut butter ones and they only sell them for a couple of months. Saying that, as a family we don't really do eggs at actual easter. mostly plants/bulbs other then the kids.

Where's the banana emoji, I need it

MN emojis, 3rd category (burger in a bun), on the top row.

Phisophical question.

If cadbury creame eggs are sold all year, are they easter eggs? Do they become easter eggs if you buy them in the weeks preceding easter?

Chrysanthemum5 · 10/02/2025 10:50

So just arriving ten minutes ago?

But if he only arrived ten minutes ago they can't even have been trying to get started on time?

ThatsNotMyTeen · 10/02/2025 10:50

Big old unit, isn’t he?

Appalonia · 10/02/2025 10:50

He's looking more cocky than I would have thought he'd be today, after the events of Friday!

BonerOfContention · 10/02/2025 10:51

He looks like he is enjoying the attention. Almost...smug?

ChimpanzeeThatMonkeyNews · 10/02/2025 10:51

No pun intended, @Appalonia !
