What time is today due to finish? My poor dog...

I was at Goodge St with a coffee at 16:00.

This is the bullshit he claims to remember.

Suddenly his memory is less limited, probably helped by the warm glow of self-righteousness he felt sending that email.

nauticant · 23/05/2022 15:40

SC is now trying to reframe his comment that LGB Alliance were trans exclusionary so that it means something other than what he said in his own freely chosen words

chilling19 · 23/05/2022 15:40

Another 'well it was 5pm (midnight/1.38am, 4am. 5am) an nauseam.

TopKnotch · 23/05/2022 15:42

I had a coffee (not a tea) and it was precisely 4pm, I had an appointment at 5pm...

The detail he can dredge up - amazing for someone who can't recall anything about anything else

nauticant · 23/05/2022 15:42

"My very impressionistic take" is SC speak for "I was bullshitting while clueless to ingratiate myself with a superior."

ickky · 23/05/2022 15:42

about 4.30 - 5 I think.

I don't think the dog can hold it in that long.

Sorry, it was a tweet, not an email. I was confused by the way it seemed to be described as a private message again. I’m so baffled by how these people use Twitter. Seems like a very strange message to send to MB via Twitter.

TheBiologyStupid · 23/05/2022 15:42

Now he can't remember how he knew SW were upset....!

chilling19 · 23/05/2022 15:43

Travelling! Bingo!

Clymene · 23/05/2022 15:43

Were you in touch with anyone at stonewall? No, I was in touch with my friend who is head of media at stonewall.

He's very good at contradicting himself in the same answer

Ameanstreakamilewide · 23/05/2022 15:43

He has reduced me to shouting at my laptop. 🤨

He knew Michelle wouldn't be happy (about AB's Tweet) and that Stonewall would be 'understandably' upset.
He can't remember what that refers to.

His pal was Head of Media at SW, but SC didn't seek his views about it that day.

Did ye, aye??

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 23/05/2022 15:43

Who had swimming friends with Head of Media at Stonewall in the sweepstake?

Zeugma · 23/05/2022 15:44

Drag Race. FFS.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 23/05/2022 15:44

Not football?

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 23/05/2022 15:44

Nice bit of stereotyping there Hmm

TopKnotch · 23/05/2022 15:44

SC is using a very flippant, dismissive voice to give the very definite impression "there's nothing to see here" whilst admitting he was tell taling to the head of media at SW....

What is he to do with Swim England?! - MASSIVE ALARM BELLS

FacebookPhotos · 23/05/2022 15:44

If only there were some way to keep up with electronic communication while travelling...

TheBiologyStupid · 23/05/2022 15:44

Drag race and Mariah Carey the only topics when he chats with important SW buddy. Really??!

ifIwerenotanandroid · 23/05/2022 15:44

So why did he mention Stonewall?

ResisterRex · 23/05/2022 15:45

FingonTheValiant · 23/05/2022 15:45

« I was travelling », with unnecessary detail about swimming... Hmm

OMG, 🤢 at him characterising LGBT men as discussing « typically frivolous topics » like Mariah Carey and Drag Race.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 23/05/2022 15:45

Ben genuinely looks furious right now.

Mmmnotsure · 23/05/2022 15:45

BC: Were you in touch with anyone at Stonewall.
SC: No. I sent a message to my friend Geoff at Stonewall...saw him later at swimming...two LGBT men

Clymene · 23/05/2022 15:45

Ooh deadlines and other important things going on. They didn't discuss anything outside their messages.
