What a crock of shite.

Scorchedterf · 20/05/2022 15:31

Was there some cataclysmic event in 2019 which made all the lawyers simultaneously lose their memories and be extremely busy, I’m thinking solar flare as that would obviously explain the lack of anyone reading emails and having IT crises.

LipbalmOrKnickers · 20/05/2022 15:31

She drank all the Kool Aid didn't she?

It's so depressing seeing these intelligent, privileged women not recognising that the logical outcome of their forceful 'inclusion' is that less privileged women lose the right to safe single-sex spaces, to organise themselves exclusively on the basis of sex and even sole use of the words they use to describe themselves. FFS indeed.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 20/05/2022 15:32

Meh, boring JR.

nauticant · 20/05/2022 15:32

LoHo characterises herself position as being opposed to the "anti-gender" movement. I wonder whether she's ever asked herself what it means to be "pro-gender"?

nauticant · 20/05/2022 15:33

A nice use of "otiose" there from BC.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 20/05/2022 15:33

JR: A private CMH about the next witness?

BC: I need instructions if she's pursuing.

Need 5-10 mins, she says.

Case Management meeting about next witness. Could it be a surprise support Llama?

Going into a private session. Something about redacting a name that this witness might mention. More vulnerabilities?

oviraptor21 · 20/05/2022 15:33

Interesting that BC asks for a moment, looks at (presumably) his phone, and then says no more questions. He's done that twice today (for both the LHs). Does that mean he is confident that he has all he needs?

LouiseBelchersBunnyEars · 20/05/2022 15:35

Haha. EJ just made an expression like JR voice went right through her

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/05/2022 15:35

They have a WhatsApp group for Allison and her legal team. BC is checking that to see whether there are any instructions on additional questions before he stops cross examination. As far as I've picked up anyway.

TheClitterati · 20/05/2022 15:35

Being sat next to JR type is my worst dinner party nightmare.

dworky · 20/05/2022 15:35

No, he was receiving texts from JR

I asked similar above and was told that he's getting instructions.

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 20/05/2022 15:36

LOL. They are not even going to manage to admit all those people into the meeting before the allocated five minutes expires. I wonder what's going on here.

nauticant · 20/05/2022 15:36

Well, LoHo was exceptional value for money. Worth sitting through the entire day for in order not to miss her performance.

Gendertired · 20/05/2022 15:36

I have been loving these threads.

Finally tuned into the hearing today.

I feel like I'm still waiting to hear LH's definition of the trans community. Although however long she was questioned for I feel I would probably still be waiting.

Lougle · 20/05/2022 15:37

Is JR lacking confidence or is it just a style? I'm surprised she was critiquing her own projection during court session. It's hardly the time.

dworky · 20/05/2022 15:37

LoHo was 'extra'.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/05/2022 15:37

JR forgot her training and 'did the thing you should never do' 😱😱😱

Let your voice tail off at the end of a sentence. Barrister 101.

Absolutely LH had no intention of giving her definition because she knows people don't agree with her

Just gauche nonsense, in my opinion and EJG isn't a fan, by the looks of things.

I noticed that too, don't think I've ever heard anyone say it aloud before!

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/05/2022 15:39

LoHo needs star billing for the cameo in the film. I'm thinking someone dramatic and OTT. Maybe Joan Collins or Liza Minnelli.
