No gossip!!!! - absolute bollocks!!!!!
It is quite literally an unwritten part of the job description of every clerk to know all the gossip in chambers and as much as possible from other chambers.

Well quite. I think ours would regard it as constructive dismissal if we tried to tell them not to gossip.

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 20/05/2022 15:11

LoHo: "a rejection of TWAW causes harm to the trans community", by denying their identity, dignity

nauticant · 20/05/2022 15:11

LoHo is definitely in the enforcer category.

Pyjamagame · 20/05/2022 15:11

Perhaps she is high clergy

CriticalCondition · 20/05/2022 15:12

This witness is the one who wanted the trans flag on GCC's response. She really, really wanted Chambers to nail their colours to the mast. She tries to brush it off as a bit of a joke in her WS.

TastefulRainbowUnicorn · 20/05/2022 15:12

I'm interested that the EJ wanted to hear the end of this ridiculous rant. I can't believe she's sold on it.

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 20/05/2022 15:13

I'm thinking High Clergy !

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/05/2022 15:13

This debate has caused increased attack on trans people and increased attacks on women.

She's done an aside to camera to apologise to and condemn the Twitter pile on on Allison.

Mollyollydolly · 20/05/2022 15:13

Here we go TWAW .. the fundamental core of a gender critical belief.

2fallsfromSSA · 20/05/2022 15:13

She is going to fall over herself now I think

oviraptor21 · 20/05/2022 15:13

So LH is saying TWANW is harmful to TW.

And BC, with a smile on his face, explaining the core principles at stake here.

LH disagreeing ....

Pyjamagame · 20/05/2022 15:13

These are supposed to be intelligent people

DelurkingLawyer · 20/05/2022 15:14

Just checking in after being in a meeting and NO GOSSIP in the clerks’ room???? What the actual fuck?!! That’s bollocks, the clerks know all the gossip about everyone.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 20/05/2022 15:14

Not true on the GRC, surely? Exemptions can still apply.

Ameanstreakamilewide · 20/05/2022 15:14

Their sex has changed.

Is that what she said??

Mollyollydolly · 20/05/2022 15:15

She's defining the trans community now, good luck with that one.

ClocheEncounter · 20/05/2022 15:15

Oooh, EJ is sharp: exactly which people constitute the trans community?

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/05/2022 15:15

EJ asking LH for her definition of trans community.

She's stuttering.

Probably also includes non binary people and people whose gender identity is different to birth sex.

Queenoftheashes · 20/05/2022 15:15

Not keen

malloo · 20/05/2022 15:15

Define 'trans' - yes! Well done EJ

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 20/05/2022 15:16

EJ to LoHo: what to you is the 'trans community'?
LoHo: those with GRC; those in broader defintion of Equality Act (changing or propose to change sex); non-binary; gender identity different from birth sex

Queenoftheashes · 20/05/2022 15:16

I didn’t think it was a complicated question

Motorina · 20/05/2022 15:16

Mollyollydolly · 20/05/2022 13:33

General question about open access court proceedings. Obvs I've followed Maya and Allison's case but are other cases done like this as well. Are they listed anywhere if so? I'm becoming addicted.

Most medico-legal stuff is now online. Cases are listed on the relevant regulator’s website in the run up.

MPTS (doctors)
NMC (nurses/midwives)
HCPC (allied healthcare professions)
GDC (dentists/dental staff)

I think the osteopaths, too.

they will welcome (if be surprised by) observers.

2fallsfromSSA · 20/05/2022 15:16

And this is where it all starts to unravel. I agree, she is high clergy.

chilling19 · 20/05/2022 15:16

Not a complicated question really.
