@Ameanstreakamilewide
BC's not having any of it, Gabcsika.

BC: "I understand that, but......."

Every question.

I'm so confused. Even the EJ is getting involved making sure she understands correctly.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 18/05/2022 10:47

Not sure where she got her cotton ceiling info from. Ah. She didn't look for it.

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 18/05/2022 10:47

MS is actually saying the "cotton ceiling" means something other than it's OBVIOUS, WIDELY-KNOWN meaning, as explained clearly by the description given in the advert for the workshop on how "queer transwomen" can "overcome" the cotton ceiling????? WTF

Ameanstreakamilewide · 18/05/2022 10:47

Has there ever been a subject that stretches over this many threads?

Ameanstreakamilewide · 18/05/2022 10:50

So, she finds one article to corroborate her own opinion and the dozens of examples that AB sends her, are what??

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 18/05/2022 10:50

She didn't know what AGP was and still can't pronounce it.

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 18/05/2022 10:50

EXACTLY @Ameanstreakamilewide

Manderleyagain · 18/05/2022 10:51

It's got such pickup artist overtones. Any other demographic talking about breaking through the cotton ceiling in relation to sexual success with women would never ever be defended by anyone sensible. Only by some men who would say 'legend'.

nauticant · 18/05/2022 10:53

AH: we need to move on [from the discussion about Cotton Ceiling]

EJ: this is something that needs to be explored.

ickky · 18/05/2022 10:53

AH objecting again and asking when the questions can move on, EJ said we need to understand this point.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 18/05/2022 10:53

AH interjecting to try to get BC to stop asking about the cotton ceiling tweet. EJ says it's important and carry on.

ickky · 18/05/2022 10:55

AH interjecting AGAIN.

OP posts:
nauticant · 18/05/2022 10:56

AH is throwing more spanners into the works of BC's questions. They don't want this to be explored. Especially since the complaint in relation to the Cotton Ceiling tweet is likely to be very significant in how GCC decided to act.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 18/05/2022 10:56

BC taking the opportunity to read out nasty abusive messages again.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 18/05/2022 10:57

EJ pauses so she can zoom in and read them properly!!!

LangificusClegasaurous · 18/05/2022 10:57

Did anyone else understand that MS misrepresented Allison's tweet- I think she said Allison had accused Morgan Page of having coerced an individual, but the tweet says he organized a workshop about how to overcome lesbians' boundaries. I couldn't find the quote on TT...
Here's the tweet...

I still haven't got over BC saying 'cunt wipe' last week. 😉

Lougle · 18/05/2022 10:57

I love this judge.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 18/05/2022 11:00

Is terf js not a slur a thing or is she mixing it up with terfisaslur and got it all backwards?

usabilityfiend · 18/05/2022 11:00

Did she actually just say "I did my own research"?! Meaning that she googled? OMFG...

Ameanstreakamilewide · 18/05/2022 11:00

She even footnoted, god damn it!

BC isn't impressed by that one bit.

LangificusClegasaurous · 18/05/2022 11:01

Did MS just refer to cotton ceiling as a transphobic term which is a more neutral analysis??????

OP posts:
IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 18/05/2022 11:01

She had to educate herself about what cotton ceiling meant and didn't do a great job by the sound of it.
