Posie: truthcrime harassment continues

Susie Green from Mermaids has appealed against the CPS decision not to pursue Posie.

Posie described truthfully what Susie Green did to her child in Thailand at the age of sixteen: surgery involving the removal of genitals, a decision so shocking to the Thai government they raised the age bar for such operations to 18.

A woman is being pursued and harassed for telling the truth. Can we show as much support as possible please.

I really hope this goes to court and peaks the entire UK.

Posie is a strong woman and can definitely cope, especially with all of us behind her.

We should also all get together in a special thread and write and send a letter to West Yorks Police. This is the THIRD person on our side they have interrogated - Miranda said in The Daily Mail she was also dragged in and questioned for "transphobia".

I have crowdfunder money left.... I don't want to ask for more money yet!! The trouble is some people were quite weird about the money, some previous allies turned silent and others demanded a say in how it was spent, who it was given to and so on. The old adage that money ruins everything is true.

I did, as expressed in my Crowdfunder, give a sizeable sum to charity both fighting free speech curtailing and training kids. I have kept a large portion just in case I was targeted again.

Freedom of Information Act request to W Yorks police: on what information has this investigation been instigated and pursued; on what basis was it rejected by the CPS in the first instance?

Data Protection Act: subject access request to the police to find out what information they are holding about you (and from whom).

It has prominent backers and its advice and recommendations have been absorbed and adopted by many public bodies."

I did not contribute to the fund purely because you categorically stated on a Mumsnet thread that funds were not needed as you had not been charged - but shortly thereafter you set up a fund anyway.

The fund page has not been updated since CPS dropped their investigation - your supporters had to read about this in the Times.

There was no mention of returning any donations that were not required, and which charity has received the donation?

The last update says the funds may go to "a new charity or project to assist my aims". Does this mean it has been added to your new vague gofundme campaign which is currently showing £22?

I absolutely support you in your fight against the police action, and if you are charged I will contribute all I can to a legal fund. But I do believe legitimate questions about the funds remain.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you @posie. The woman attacking you seems like a nasty piece of work imo.

The irony is, if SG actually joined MN, she would get tons of helpful support and advice! And it sounds like she needs it.

Like others, whilst I hope this has a peaceful resolution for your sake, it would be very interesting if it did go to court... it would peak trans a lot of people and expose Mermaids for what it is.

I re-iterate that I absolutely support Posie, I just think some clarity and communication about the fund should be forthcoming.

sallyannemum No, trans women are not women, they are men. I don't take my orders from a tin pot dictator who calls others bullies.

Refunds are not an option once Crowdfunder takes a large sum and they force my account to close 6 weeks early.

Considering trans activists are scrutinising my every move I am not willing to discuss further details here.
