⭐️ OPEN TO ALL ⭐️

Following on from ⭐️LOSE IT! Revive & Thrive January 2025⭐️

WOW January passed in a heartbeat! Let’s keep the momentum going ladies!

To reach optimum health and vitality (as well as a slim bod) we need to focus not only on our food intake; but movement, our mental health and sleep quality too!

Who doesn’t want to feel good and energetic as well looking great!
Get on board to reset & refresh and become a healthier version of yourself.

These threads are for those who’d like to lose weight and those who wish to maintain whilst eating a healthy varied diet.

As no one size fits all, members need to follow their own way of eating. This thread aims to offer guidance, support and a bit of hand holding.

We generally have WOW (weigh on Wednesday) day each week. However post and share your progress as often or as little as you prefer. Do what works for you.

The important thing is not to think of it as a diet (based on deprivation and unsustainable) but more a way of life (sustainable & enjoyable).

I calorie count based on a lower carb Mediterranean diet. I intermittent fast and eat twice a day. Im a long time healthy eater and overall I’ve lost over 3 stone. After having been on the wrong side of 12st Im now hovering around 9st 2lbs.

Are you in😊 What food plan will you be following? What do you want to change and why?

I’ve lost some of the water/carb/ salt weight from the weekend which is a relief because my face was so puffy.

B- almond milk and probiotic
L- avocado and egg
D- rice and bolognaise

With a will power of steel I didn’t have any chocolate cake. I did a 30 minute work out before bed so good day all round.

Ethiopianflower · 25/02/2025 08:43

This week I have maintained at 10st 9. I’ll take that - at least it’s not a gain. Onwards and hopefully downwards next week. Best of luck everyone.

AnonymousMum37 · 25/02/2025 14:40

I had such a good workout this morning! It's sunny 🌞 😎 so I went for a run starting with alongside my daughter on the way to school at 8.15 and finishing at my new pilates class at 9.30, then did an hour of pilates and ran home, I was enjoying myself so much I kept going so I was out til 11.30! Covered about 10 miles (With a couple of short stops to enjoy the view and drink some water) and it was sooooo lovely. I guess I must finally be getting fitter!

I had a protein coffee and 4 dried apricots at pilates, then 2 fried eggs and 50g smoked salmon on a piece of bread, 2 big tomatoes with chipotle sauce, a big pile of spinach and a dollop of cottage cheese. So plenty to fill me up!

Dinner will be vegetarian Spag Bol and I can't wait! 😋

FaeryQueen · 25/02/2025 15:59

How on earth does a post menopausal body need so few calories?

Based on a few unofficial weigh ins this week I'm not expecting much of a loss, if any tomorrow!

Fellsbells · 25/02/2025 17:58

Another day avoiding chocolate cake done.

B- almond milk/probiotic drink
L- avocado salad and salmon
D- steak and vegetables with peppercorn sauce.

I’ll do a 30 minute work out later this evening so I’m optimistic about tomorrow’s weigh in.

TealSloth · 26/02/2025 07:00

Morning all hope your all well. I've weighed myself. I am same weight going for pass 3 days.
I work out, my eating is right. Drink plenty of water. I think it's frozen again. This is not going to put me off from working hard everyday to loose them pounds as it had happened before.
13.13 for pass 3 days

PatienceOfEngels · 26/02/2025 07:11

Have been largely absent this month. Home has been tense and we're all stressed, ill and a bit miserable. But feel like spring is on the way!

Finishing the month with a maintain! Have been a bit up and down (mostly up) so happy with that.

Starting March off with a weekend away with kids then and day out with a friend so need to make some good choices.

Ending Feb on 71.5kg. Still a stubborn 3.5kg off my goal. Let's see if I can make a dent in it during March!

Fellsbells · 26/02/2025 07:32

I’ve lost last weeks pounds of carby excess. Back in the 9s and feeling positive about the next week.

StealthyBMI · 26/02/2025 07:40

I'm 0.75kg down from last Wednesday. Barely moved yesterday because I've got another cold, the joy of having little kids who pretty much want to sleep with their face on your face. Resting again today so will be back at the gym Saturday morning. Not far off 10kg lost overall so I'm super pleased, and got loads of compliments last weekend on how good I was looking. 🤓
SW 89kg
CW 79.1kg
GW 72kg

under60kgbyJuly · 26/02/2025 08:43

WOW: I was away on (a lovely) holiday last week so this week I'm ridiculously pleased it isn't worse. Less than last time I posted, but 100g more than the time before. I keep being glad I chose to keep the underambitious username, and reminding myself that at this time of year I usually tend to put weight on, so even not doing that is good...

SW: 63.4kg
CW: 62.5kg
GW: 60.0kg

socks1107 · 26/02/2025 09:01

So I've lost half a pound average over this week. I'm bouncing around the 13st mark now for about eight days and it knows I want to see the 12s consistently but is refusing to go there! ( I did see it Saturday but it went back up)
Maybe next week...

SW 13.13
CW 13
GW 11.8

IDareSay · 26/02/2025 09:14

SW: 72.5 kg beginning January (I was as high as 74.9kg last year!)
GW1: 70 kg end January (achieved and reset to 69kg)
CW: 67.8kg (4.7 kg lost) 26th Feb
GW2: 65 kg end March (in time for weekend away)
GW3: 60kg end June

Down to my lowest so far this year this week with half a kilo off. I looked back at end of January and see I was 68.5kg, so not even a whole kilo off in February, but better down than up.

I'll weigh again on Friday just for comparison, but February has certainly been challenging! Still, 4.7kg (over 10lbs) since Christmas is pretty good, and if I hadn't reset my target at the end of January I would be on target Grin

2.8kg loss needed to meet my end of March target of 65kg, but I will be happy to be anywhere in the 65's.

FaeryQueen · 26/02/2025 11:58

Pretty much the same as last week as expected and I've been so good too!

I've even been making the effort to close my Apple watch rings every day and hit my target step count.

Oh well -hopefully my hard work will show in next week's weigh in

TerroristToddler · 26/02/2025 13:21

Maintained this week - and given I was away for 4 days on a long weekend holiday with the family where I didn't count calories and ate lots of treats, I am pleased as punch with a maintain this week! I assumed the damage would be far worse!

Aiming for 1lb off hopefully next week, but you never know if holiday cals are going to catch up with me later in this week and sneak it back on!

SW - 140lbs
CW - 132.4 lbs
GW - 125 lbs

Congrats to everyone who has lost this week! Keep it up ladies!!!

Jaderz · 26/02/2025 15:06

I am back posting but also losing my mind!

I don’t want to clog the thread with my virus’s and bowel movements 😂😂 but I am truly sick of whatever is going on. Been unwell for weeks with one thing or another. Now I either have a bug or god knows what, put it this way, I’m no longer constipated. 😭

However despite eating really well, in a deficit, and even trying to get some exercise in (not doing very well in this area) I am now GAINING weight. I’ve lost the grand total of.. 2lbs since 1st Jan in 7 weeks! I had lost 4lbs, 2 weeks ago, but put half of it back on somehow. I am struggling with motivation and fatigue. I’ve done so well up till this point and I set myself a realistic goal at the start of this year, and I am disappointed I will not reach it when I wanted to. I am so tired and I don’t know why. I don’t know what’s wrong with me!

I know this is only a few lbs I’m whinging over but I’ve been struggling since November last year in all honesty with constant illness and I have really had enough. I was feeling so fit and healthy and great before I just want to get back there 😢

NothingTraLaLa · 26/02/2025 15:26

Oh dear. A week away at half term and I am (almost) back to where I started in January. I’m hoping that over the course of the next week I can shed the couple of pounds I’ve put on since the beginning of February.

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 26/02/2025 18:54

Hi everyone, well done to all those with losses. I am finally feeling a bit like my old self so all set to get back on track in March. The weather looks not too bad this weekend so hoping to get out for a lovely walk.

Ethiopianflower · 26/02/2025 19:38

At work today 2 people commented that I had lost weight - first time since my weight loss journey that anyone has said a thing. Pathetic of me, but it really made my day

Puffalicious · 26/02/2025 19:49

That's a lovely feeling Ethiopianflower. My friend commented on Sunday she could see it on my face 😃.

I'm so sorry to hear you're finding it tough right now Jaderz, being ill is crap. All you can do is rest when you can; lots of good vitamins in your food (a few supplements if you like); hydrate including lovely warm drinks & dig in for the better weather & better times.

I STS this week. Disappointing, but my body does take a 2nd week to register when I've over-eaten, & I think the party last Saturday did it for me. Being 53 one indulgent day can have a huge effect. But I'll need to screw the nut this week to keep losing.

Still walking 45 a day, which I do like for head space & fresh air.

Good Morning

Came to thread unable to find my yesterday’s WOW post … failed to post. I’ll post Februarys final weigh-in tomorrow but it’s looking like I’m going to end the month where I started as I’ve bounced up a couple of lbs 🤷‍♀️.

Meal 1 - Chicken & Mushroom soup.
Meal 2 - Griddled salmon & chopped salad with home made dressing.
Tea, black coffee & water.

I’ll soon be posting the March thread👍

Final weigh-in of the month and I’m up 0.4 lb since the start of the month, which isn’t too bad, considering I was over a pound heavier just a couple of days ago. Exercise, even just gentle walking, really does make a huge difference to the amount of water weight I carry.

@NothingTraLaLa It’s always tougher to lose as we nearer our goal. I find it frustrating. You’ll get there!

Ending February a stone lighter than I was at New Year. 🥳

I am now a healthy BMI, at 24.6 but I'd like to be more comfortably in the healthy range if I can.

SW: 176.6lb
CW: 162.2lb
TW: 154lb

54 days consistent tracking of calories on MFP and I don't want to lose my streak so that's motivating me! 😄
