Week 5 check in for me. Have now lost 18lbs. Absolutely delighted!

Very limited side effects for me, mainly nausea and take Senna to keep me regular.

Am going to re order a second 5mg pen and see how I go on that. Not that I could order the 7.5gm, but at this time don't feel I need it.

I inject Friday evenings so will be doing that later (I’m actually excited, which is something coming from someone who has always been scared of needles!). I’ve lost 8lbs this week. Only side effects are feeling very cold and having vivid dreams. No appetite, so much easier to make healthy choices! Amazing!!!

It appears the 7.5mg and 10mg pens will be available from 15th April.

@Priority1234 if 2.5 is working well for you, I would stay on that as long as you can.

It depends what my day is like as to whether I have both or not. Technically the protein powder is my husband's! But I'm drinking it too as it's nice as a part of brekkie and to add calories when struggling to do so!
I have both. The collagen in the evenings.

Took my 3rd dose of 5mg today. There is definitely still 2 doses left in the 5mg pen!

I've been avidly reading all your success stories. I have my first 2.5mg pen in the fridge. I am not telling anyone about this and will be with family all weekend so I'm going to start on Tuesday. I am excited to start. I have struggled with yo-yo dieting all my life so let's see.
My question is how soon can I try and order my 5mg pen just so I have it ready. I got my first with Voy but it's too expensive to continue with them at £229 a pop!xxx

Hi @NNSingers. I would order it during week 3 of your first dose as some only come with a 6 week expiry date. For example; mine arrived mid March and expires end of May.

I know with MedExpess they asked when I started and how far I was into my current pen. So I'd say wait until you've had at least a dose to try and move to another supplier.

I just ordered another 5mg via med express, thanks for the code! Currently one dose into my 5mg one, I’ve sent them proof.

I switched from pharmacy2u, it’s cheaper with med expresss even without the discount code, so will stick with them.

Do we know which pharmacies continue to prescribe when under a bmi of 30? That’s what I’m worried about, currently a stone away so I’ve got time, but want to make sure I’m with one which will continue.

Ugh/ took second dose of 5mg yesterday and feeling like I have morning sickness. I can’t eat anything. I honestly couldn’t imagine going up to 7.5 as I can’t face dealing with anymore appetite suppression and nausea.

So on the websites it seems to give a monthly price, so I assumed that 1 pen does more than one dose is that right? Because if one pen is one dose that's going to be like £150 a week and I just can't do that!

I'm 5'6 and weigh about 14 and a half stone.

A pen lasts 4 weeks (or 5 if you can get the extra bit out).

My biggest issue is the constant voice in my head telling me I'm hungry - even if I've just eaten - do you think it might help with this? I'm very active, usually at least 15k steps a day, but I think constantly about food 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Thanks . I’ve now had a message saying it’s being reviewed so I suspect it’s due to the bank holiday it’s been slowed down maybe . Also my BMI is now 30.5 so maybe a bit close ? But should be ok . I’m tall but am actually 4 stone more than I used to be and felt a comfortable weight then so I really hope they keep prescribing for a bit longer if I do go under 30 soon.

I had an immediate quieting of the voice in my head, some people have taken a bit longer. It sounds like almost everyone gets there in the end though!

I need your thoughts: I have had to titrate down to 5.0 for my next month, from 3 weeks of 7.5. Should I do my last 7.5 today, or do a 5.0 and take a 5.0 on holiday with me (going to France for a week)?

And then do 7.5 when I get back?

I cannot decide which might help me more stay on track.

@spamm it depends on how good you want I be I think. I think you said the 7.5mg had a better effect than the lower doses, is this still the case? If you want to be suppressed on hol then do the 7.5mg, if you want a lighter suppression, do the 5mg. I think even if you took the 5mg you would still have about half of the 7.5mg dose in your system when you take the 5mg. So would still be quite suppressed I think. Have a good holiday :)
