These guys really love Prince William.

There was so much fanfare yesterday about who the guest would be today. Travis Kelce played it up so big, I thought it would be Taylor.

But no, it’s Prince William. The intro is 😍

Intro Short

Oh I’ll listen to that . Thanks for posting it.
How nice of William to do this.

I think that’s great.
Travis and Jason’s podcast is really popular . I hope they all had a lot of fun doing it.

(James Corden -pfftt )🤣

Taylor Swift rescued Prince William once (think she told the story on Graeme Norton once about when Bon Jovi put him on the spot to do karaoke and he was mortified) so I guess the loyalty never gets forgotten.

I think it’s great stuff - wonder if there’ll be an invite to the wedding too?

That’s funny!! Equipment labeled “Bon Jovi” was seen going into MSG yesterday. Sounds like he performed at their rehearsal (or wedding if you believe the reports) last night!

I love the 6’3” mention, poor Harry is only 6’2” 😖 (without lifts)

Apparently tomorrow is George’s last day at his prep school so I expect if invited to the wedding they’ve turned it down for that reason. Plus not a great look popping over to NYC with security in tow to attend a celebrity bash. It’s probably quite useful at the moment not to be seen as celebs, so as not to draw any comparison with the Sussexes.

NotTalkingBouttheLinen · 03/07/2026 16:21

The comment section on YouTube is already popping. “The literal future King of England?!”

That’ll be an American, of course.

Iirc, the way William tells it, Taylor encouraged him to do it and he just followed her up on stage. “Like a puppy” I believe were his words, not sure he could believe that he agreed so readily 😂
But he says she taught him that in this age of hyper awareness of image and brand, it’s still ok to make a fool of yourself.

NotTalkingBouttheLinen · 03/07/2026 17:48

They kept calling William “Prince”. 🤣

Thank you for this thread, we've just been listening to it, my son is a huge NFL fan. What a great interview, William is so relaxed, charming and funny. He's obviously really knowledgeable about football, and I'm pleased he's a genuine fan, not just a figurehead.
I've not ever heard him talk like this, he's so intelligent, modest and low key. Great banter.
Great work, guys..

KatyaKanani · 03/07/2026 20:05

The guys were impressed at how far PW could throw that ball!

CathyorClaire · 03/07/2026 20:14

Goodness.

This seems pretty surprising when W's already under fire for his supine work ethic

Guess simpering at sycophants is a little more soothing than sweltering in velvet curtains while being barracked by protestors asking who knew what and when about MW.

Wow. Who rattled your cage?! Did you actually listen to it?
No sychophancy there at all. Just really nice sports chat, good humour and great observations.
If you don't like William I've no idea why you'd go out of your way to listen?

CathyorClaire · 03/07/2026 20:27

I believe he was introduced with a list of made up royal titles?

Didn't you listen at all?! The guys were having a laugh!
Why did you cross out "made up"?

I don't subscribe to the desperate (crisis manager manipulated?) PR puffing W as a 'man of the people'.

I crossed out 'made up' to emphasise that they are.

Are you serious? Those are his titles. A person is entitled to think they are ludicrous, but here we are. PW is reaching out successfully to an audience extending beyond the UK and exercising very effective soft power but unfortunately you are so blinded by biased you can’t appreciate it.

What concrete benefits do you see accruing to the UK?

🤣🤣🤣 nice try!
I knew you were joking! The vitriol was just too much!
Anyway, I thought it was enjoyable as well.
Freedom for Tooting! 🤣
