Travis is not Taylor though. Appearing on a podcast with Travis is no more an endorsement of Taylor than having William as a guest is an endorsement of Harry or Andrew. What do you mean, aligning themselves with MAGA?

If it’s for the reasons that you mentioned, then it seems to be a bit of a nothing burger. I certainly wouldn’t take it as a sign anyone was ‘cosying up to Trump’ or ‘aligning themselves with MAGA’s’. In fact I’d say Travis comment was the opposite of cosying up.

Maybe there is more to it and @iamfrustrated will come back and tell us? 🤷‍♀️

My recommendation is that you don’t be associated with Taylor Swift. And especially turn down the request to be her husband’s podcast.

And the Kelce brothers (one now married to someone who is wealthier and more well known worldwide than William) are sycophants.

Prince William appearing on a podcast in the US to talk about football is a reasonable thing to do, given that football was codified in England and his known support for Aston Villa (who have won a trophy more recently than many of the Premier League teams some US people follow).

Whether or not he picked the best one or the most appropriate is reasonable to discuss.

What would make this one not appropriate?

That’s a good point about Williams climate activism when Taylor clearly doesn’t think much about climate change with her own carbon footprint from private jet use and moving her stage all around the world on her very large Eras tour.

The Royals are all about PR though, they have to be. Taylor and Travis are popular and William will use that.

It’s all a bit ick, but not surprising.

I like Taylor, and tbf to her, she doesn’t preach about climate change to us and then go and do something different so that is fair enough. William looks very hypocritical. I think he has used private jets, he definitely uses helicopters a lot and is now getting pally with Taylor and her new husband, who couldn’t give a shite about the environment, all for clicks and likes. Ick!
