I saw the video and all the people in that run were hugging him, at the end Alison turns round calls his name sort of runs up to him for huh and starts jumping up and down in excitement. I've seen plenty of people do similar excited hugs like that. I don’t see him grinding her.

It really was. The press photographs show some quite astonishingly naff behaviour from him.

After the bum bothering in Australia and the Charlotte Griffiths revelations you’d think he might try to behave less boorishly for a whole day.

Evidence does indicate that while he may be a ‘man’ in his forties, he still has the mindset of a boozed up young lad.

Well there’s an argument that the Royal family is an archaism, and not relevant to modern Britain, so yes, showing the Royal family still has relevance and is involved in things people care about now, is important.

But that does run the risk of looking like you are chasing the cool/fame of celebrities. Balancing act, I think William was right to do this. (I still think it was a massive mistake for him not to go to Australia for the women’s world cup final.)
